The isolation magic of magnetic levitation, that cool acrylic transparent plinth, a Corian sub-chassis, and a choice of counterweights make this one bad-ass turntable from the largest manufacturer of turntables in the world.
I only know Deal from years and years of reading audio rags and observing his ads. Based on that I give him my award of being the coolest audio salesman in the Universe. Guy's real and has a healthy dose of wicked humor.

Love that magnetic platform. You mentioned highs causing vibrations. I run two Sunfire subs in my bedroom system. When I would turn up the volume with bassy music, I would get all sorts of distortion from the subs shaking the floor. I’m going to seriously consider this thing!
I have this turntable. It's awesome. The 9cc EVO Arm is great, and tracks wonderfully. A few naysayers around, but they're all idiots. If you don't own it, or you haven't used it....shut up. You know not of what you speak.

That ain't Corian. Corian does not come in clear. That is acrylic, presumable Perspex brand acrylic, hence the name.
The sub chassis is corian.

Do I need a platter mat with my unit? The 6 PerspeX
Its looks to me like they have corrected all the issues that my turntable has , the Experience acrylic , motor hum , distortion on the high end , lack of bass and sterile , and the motor suspension belt that snaps every week , basically a dud.
I'd love to buy this table - but the cost is 39% higher 3 years later? Were there any design changes made to it or a new version released to justify that big of a change in price? (The Marantz TT is a close competitor to this TT and cost 1599 - went to 1799 over the same time period.)

Is that an MDF platter on a $1800 turntable? Rega P6 anyone? At 1800 clams it should start with acrylic, or delrin platter. No thanks if its MDF for that kind of money. Can a Rega type or SME type arm mount be put on it? Is it wall wart PSU?
That carbon fiber tone evolution tone arm is crap..Looks nice but crap
How is it crap? Even Linn that makes awesome tonearms have used the project carbon fiber over aluminum tonearms on their decks. I have the classic with the 9" arm just has a different counter weight and i can throw any cart id like on that thing. Doesnt hurt its looks awesome but no clue why you consider it crap.
For one it has a lifter that is unusable if it’s that good they should put effort into making it available with a decent lifter.BTW do you have a video of you throwing cartridges at it..How far away do you stand...🤭.
