same! i had box braids in for 1 in half going on 2 months. and let me tell you, i MISS MISS MISS my baby! i miss my natural hair! i just watch natural hair videos now i want to take these braids out. i also see a lot of growth! i am soo excited i cant wait to take these braids out!!! 😆 october 7 !
I love your results! The last time I washed and styled my hair, I used Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie mixed with their new 100% pure Jamaican Black Castor Oil, and it was hands-down my best results ever.
I've been natural for 7months (did the big chop end of march) i've watched hundreds of tutorials. I watched this video 3 days ago and i decided to try the mix of curling smothie and castor oil. My hair has never been this moist and soft EVER🙌🏾 thank you soooo much. I said bye to my eco styler gel and coconut oil they never worked for me like this method did. And congrats on your pregnancy u'll be a great mom for sure.👍🏾👸🏾
I swear I have watched this video like 20 times!!! Absolutely LOVE the results!!! Can’t wait to do my first successful braid out!!! I think your technique will definitely give me THE BEST results!!
I have been scared to try braid outs for the frizz reason but these results came out soooo good! I will def try this! If not just the parting technique I hate the back middle part too!
Mane Bri I've been watchin you since 2014 and you still make hair tutorials look effortless! Congrats on the baby and all of your success! Love & Light Queen
Definitely will have to try this technique. I've done plenty of braid-outs but never with braids this small. Thanks for showing all the details of how you achieved this look.
This is an absolutely PERFECT braidout! Such inspiration. Am glad I was feeling lazy and didn't do my weekly wash day today as I am going to do it tomorrow and am definitely doing a braidout. Now to check my stash to see if I have any SMCES! 😊
Just watch your video with you trimming your hair. I couldn't understand why you cut your hair until seeing this shaped and how beautiful and healthy this look. Wow I love everything about this cut and shape. Your curls always look extra juicy
R.Mccoy I am so glad I seen this video, I have tried everything since I went natural and it always puff into a fro by the time I went to my car. Lol, but the braids, castor oil, and I use dark and lovely shrinkage for coils works and is a perfect fit for me. Now my hair last all day. Thank u thank u thank u. Only problem I must braid it every night. Which is ok since my hair is so new to this natural look phase. It's been 4 months now....
I use to twist every night, too. If you just put 3-4 big twists on each side of your head, without brushing your hair out, it helps to keep your twist/ braid out for longer. I can get mine to last at least 1 week now.
Hey if it ain't broke don't fix it!!! Your products being the same every time is admirable cause it's so easy to become a product junkie lol! Your hair is beautiful :)
I guess I need to change my technique or somethings because my hair never moves when I do a twist out or braid out. It be stiff as a board but yours was 😍😍😍😍
you probably arent mosturising your hair properly. i had this problem at the start of my hair journey and making sure i mosturise my hair properly fixed the problem hope that helps!
This may sound like a stupid question but how do I properly moisturize? I do the LOC method 90% of the time but maybe I'm not putting enough product or what I'm using may be too heavy.
+Kinky Koily Kayla that's not a stupid question at all i use to wonder that as well. But what i do is spray my hair with ALOT ALOT of water to the point that it is damp wet and then use my leave in conditioner(a coin sized amount)to seal it in then i use a mosturiser (tiny amount) for each section then i apply oil to seal everything in. keeps my style mosturised for the whole week try that and let us know!!
Those braids are so cute and remind me of how small I used to do braids while at university. I think I'll try them that small to see the results. Gorgeous results!
Giiirrrrl your hair is gorgeous hunty. I'm protective styling right now, but when the fall comes and I'm ready to bust then curls back out trust and believe I WILL NOT HAVE FORGOTTEN this video.👏👏👏
I love your hair it has grown so much! And since I watched this video I'm determined to do a braid out because I do twits outs faithfully every week or every two weeks. I love you and Congratulations on your pregnancy 😊👏💜
Thanks for the tip on mixing the Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie with JBCO. I tried it and it makes my hair so soft! My twists look moisturized and shiny for days.
I am so glad I found you. It looks as if we have the same curls but I am trying your method along with products. Wish me luck. It would be nice if you can create something on your nightly routine.
That looks so beautiful! I have given up on the braid-outs and twist-outs because my hair always just looks a hot mess even after carefully detangling and braiding! LOL!
You make it look so effortless! And those braids are a style all in themself. I love your results boo! Do you think it's humidity resistant? #thatFloridaheatthough
I live in south Florida too and the trick that I use to always keep my stretched styles is finding a good gel that will hold your hair without making it crunchy. for me it's Eco styler but I have very dense kinky hair so for someone with curls it might be too heavy
Same lol. My first day of school is coming up Tuesday and the humidity is supposed to be high that day. I just hope my hair doesn't poof up before the day begins 💀
Hey pretty lady, you definitely have the look of a happy mommy to be, a well loved wife, and a blessed, contented woman. Thank you for this post, I love it, and will try it out. 😊💗
Me also love putting castor oil in the Shea moisture. Love your tribal necklace and that bebe glow. Can't wait for my hair to grow back. Thank you for sharing this tutorial. ✨😊
I love your results. How do you maintain this for day 2, day 3?? I have a problem maintaining my braid out (twist out) past day 1. Do you re-braid, pineapple?? Any advise you can give would be appreciated.
Every time I plan on doing a braidout, I first watch your video :D think it gives me motivation to do it ha ha. You're so stunning and your hair is absolutely beautiful! I'm a huge fan :D
I have always been terrified of using JBCO on my strands. I've always thought it was too thick so I only used it on my roots. I'll definitely try this method.
Perfect tip: that's exactly what I do... Don't borrow from other sections when braiding unless you have too.. Cuts the frizz dramatically .. An don't pic out the hair if it's already thick.
I would love too see a new product challenge or maybe just your opinion on the popular product lines such as the Maine Choice or Mielle Organics 😊 thanks!
the shape is what gives this braidout life
Kimmy Nicole *** exactly I need to know what cut or shape is called it's beautiful
@@positivevibes5364 looks like a diva cut

I guess I need to change my technique or somethings because my hair never moves when I do a twist out or braid out. It be stiff as a board but yours was 😍😍😍😍
you probably arent mosturising your hair properly. i had this problem at the start of my hair journey and making sure i mosturise my hair properly fixed the problem hope that helps!
Also make sure your hair is wet! I get my best results with wet, moisturized hair.
Olivia Felder yes i agree
This may sound like a stupid question but how do I properly moisturize? I do the LOC method 90% of the time but maybe I'm not putting enough product or what I'm using may be too heavy.

Thanks for the tip on mixing the Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie with JBCO. I tried it and it makes my hair so soft! My twists look moisturized and shiny for days.
I been looking for a braid out video for hours and saw ur old one and clicked on ur profile and this was posted five minutes ago this is great 😂
Your hair looks amazing, and love the braidout
Gorg as usual! How do you maintain your braid outs at night?
Most people pineapple their hair if it's long, if it's shorter or even if you have long hair people braid it back up in large sections
Or just throw a bonnet on
+Jay.ok I know. That doesn't work for me with a braid out or twist out only with a wash n go, so I wanted to know her method of maintaining.
+Katiri Sherman A bonnet makes me lose definition so I wanted to know what method SHE uses to maintain.
+chkmebu oh, well look back at her videos she has a nighttime routine video for hair
I can't tell you how many times I said you reminded me of Janet Jackson when you turned to the side!!! Very pretty results as well!!!!
I thought I had thick hair...tried your technique tonight, fingers crossed it comes out as perfect as yours in the morning
I am so glad I found you. It looks as if we have the same curls but I am trying your method along with products. Wish me luck. It would be nice if you can create something on your nightly routine.
I never part my hair down the middle but this looks so cute and I now have a similar haircut. I will be trying this!

Mini Marley you remind me of Janet Jackson...beautiful! I've been thinking of cutting my damage ends off...you are an inspiration!
You make it look so effortless! And those braids are a style all in themself. I love your results boo! Do you think it's humidity resistant? #thatFloridaheatthough
That's what I want to know too! Lol
I agree. I was like wow she made that look easy. Lol and the braids were cute
+Curly Monroe lol!!
I live in south Florida too and the trick that I use to always keep my stretched styles is finding a good gel that will hold your hair without making it crunchy. for me it's Eco styler but I have very dense kinky hair so for someone with curls it might be too heavy
That's def true, I get the best results when I use a creamy product then top it off with a gel. Thank you for this tip!!
Meanwhile the humidity won't let me be great 🙃
Same lol. My first day of school is coming up Tuesday and the humidity is supposed to be high that day. I just hope my hair doesn't poof up before the day begins 💀
