I love this video so much. This is literally EXACTLY what’s happening to me now. I tried a couple days ago on wet hair and excessive product and got the exact same result as you. The next day (yesterday) I tried again on blow dried hair with less product and smaller sections and I plan on taking it down tomorrow. I pray I have better results!

Thanks for sharing! I recall doing it on wet hair and it was a mess! Plus certain products work better than others on my 4c hair.

I did my flexi rods on wet hair, it turned out so nice but I also had my flexi rods in for a couple days. I've practiced this style 3 times. The first time I didn't let it dry completely and it didn't turn out right. Hair tutorials are very helpful, Thank you

Soo beautiful!! I'm only scheduled for half a shift tomorrow, because I will go into overtime, so when I get home in the morning I will doing this!! However, since I will have almost 24hrs for it to dry, I might do it on clean wet hair... Anywho, this turned out AMAZING! Thank you for the tips because I was sure to mess it up without them lol🤗🙏🖤

You can dry your hair and then just mist it and put just a little product in it. It will look and hold beautiful. I can't use a lot 9f product in my hair. It is natural curly but baby fine

Do u think it would be ok if I brush out my curls once it's dried, then do the rods? Like if I wash my hair the next couple of days it's gonna dry off, then I can do the flexi rods?I've tried doing them twice now but I never really waited for them to dry off 😭

In a Nutshell:: Do: have patience. Don't attempt this wet set style without a standing dryer.
Tbh though, it still came out pretty the first time.

Supposed if you don't want to blow dry can it still work? And do you used a specific heat protectant before you blow dry? Cause am very scared to put any heat in my hair
I have been natural for almost 2 years, and I haven't used heat in all that time, not even a diffuser. When I roller set or flexi rod, I let my hair air dry and the result is fantastic! The key is to make sure your hair is completely dry.

Went to a new salon she flexi rodded my hair after washing it i knew it was down hill from there ii got a mop look, some guy said it was cute i wanted to throw my take out at him. Mine came out way worse than hers At A SALON. Now I have to wear make up to try and balance out the bad do,

The mousse prevents frizz but if you don’t mind just use what you have & make sure they are completely dry before undoing.
In my opinion ya parts/subsections were way too big
