The Infiltration of Mysticism

Faith at Risk IV Session 2:
Classical mysticism is flooding into the evangelical church from many directions, and with it comes a race back toward Rome. This session will explore "Christian mysticism" which seeks to encounter God in order to be blessed, enlightened, become holy or ascertain truth apart from Scriptures. It is the belief that God is specifically speaking to man today apart from the Word of God in a super-rational experience. Pastor Gary Gilley exposes these practices and encourages us to return to Scripture.
