You cant compare midfielders with strikers or goalkeepers, defenders, Paez is a skilled midfielder but not as good as Zidan, I hope he becomes a better player in the future and he have talent that for sure 100%

many ecuadorians (unlike me) think that the hype should die down because they don’t want another plata situation. plata is a decent midfielder/winger but the hype was too much. however, paez truly is worth all of it. one of the best ecuadorian wonderkids ever.
As long as Paez stays humble he will be one of the best. That’s the problem with most Ecuadorian players, they never stay humble.

Yesterday for South Americas Qualifier’s against Uruguay in Quito, Ecuador lined up with PAEZ and CAICEDO in midfield, and the way this two played together was magical, can’t wait to see them together at Chelsea. PAEZ & CAICEDO had no problem minimizing the likes of Fede Valverde of Real Madrid, or Ugarte of PSG even Núñez of Liverpool
So we actually have Kendry, Angelo, Cole Palmer, Madueke, Mudryk in the attack for years to come. Nobody sees what is coming yet, Chelsea will definitely dominate football in years to come.
