Desperate signing but this is the best Chelsea can get at this moment considering how the main targets rejected us (Kounde and De Ligt), how late we are in the transfer window, increased price of getting him from another Premier League team and even Leicester for that matter, they aren't easy to negotiate with. Saying that, I hope we don't let Chalobah leave, if he leaves, we will be forced to play James as a RCB which hurts our team performance.
How if we have Fofana and Azpi as his backup in that position ?
If I'm not mistaken, Tuchel didn't really want Kounde. That's why they delayed signing him, plus if he really wanted Kounde they would've gone for him before Koulibaly since we were already linked to Kounde last season.
Tuchel didnt want kounde, which is why the deal was delayed. So shut up and stop complaining the kid isnt worth 75mil but he has potential and most importantly chelsea fc is not spending your money to buy him, so just relax and lets see how he does in a chelsea shirt

Bro we have kante and kova but misery was they were injured, we have ruben who is beast in 3 games, we have gallagher , who is too good don't judge him with 2 matches,it takes time to settle. We have jorginho too who can dectate game so no need, still we can go for de jong if needed
Tbh when Kante and Kova are firing on all cylinders it's a different story but when one or both are out like they have been we do struggle in the middle. RLC can be good but hes not consistent enough to replace either efficiently. So one more decent midfielder would work nicely. I think an out and out striker with link up play would be very beneficial.
