Hey, today I'm repairing the NVIDIA GTX 670 OC graphics card - error code 43 - how to fix it and what does it mean? It means that either the GPU graphics processor is damaged and it does not communicate with the RAM memory chip (VRAM / GDDR) or the VRAM chips themselves are damaged - as in this case one GDDR5 Hynix chip - this is what the test indicated with the NVIDI MATS/MODS program (NVIDIA Modular Diagnostic software). How to count memory dice? Instructions from the Internet come to the rescue :) (All links and details below in the description).
Generally, using hotair from AiXun and an old fryer that I used for BGA repairs, I will replace the memory chip today to see if it helps and if the graphics system (GPU) is functional :)
I tried to measure all the data lines of the old VRAM chip in diode mode, but I didn't find any short circuit and I didn't have a reference to a functional chip - so this part of the video can be skipped :) Sometimes the measurements can also be good, and the chip will simply fall apart during operation. errors - material consumption, no short circuits :)

For version 367.38.1 we need to enter the directory:

(we will test 10MB of memory and stop the program, without "|less" you will have to look for the log file and everything will be saved there, but it takes more time)
