- This video is a time saver for those who have been chasing the dreaded Check Charging System Now light. I spent countless hours and about 800.00 just to find out a simple fuse should have been my initial start point my search for a solution. Most people don't even know there is an Alternator fuse.
Thanks so much. I tested my alternator myself and it was failing. I replaced it and the serpentine belt and I'm still getting the error. I will look at the fuse! Great tip and thanks for the help brother! 2:01

I looked up the alternator fuse 10 AM on mine. It’s located at number 43 for the 2006 Mustang no go it’s good fuse so I turned it back on and let’s see if it comes back on again it went off but it’s not come back on yet.
Thank you man thank you to the moon, I have (red Battery error and Check charging system ) message on my 2007 Mustang GT ,and few days ago I drove 600KM with these errors without any problems, stopped on to take Gas ,stopped to eat start again drive no problem ,and I couldn't figure out what is causing the problem because if it was Battery on Alternator I would have stalled somewhere in those 600KM ,now is 10PM for me I live in Germany, tomorrow I'm gonna buy that Fuse and fix it ,it can't be anything else ,all great to you man !!

@@derickfortson2221 hey mate ,it was not a fuse but it was a very small and cheep fix ,it was the small part on the Alternator called Ragulator that wasn't working properly ;)
@@derickfortson2221 deffinetly don't rush to buy new Altermator or Battery if you can drive and error goes away on higher RPM, had this problem checked by my friend who is car electriton/mechanic and he told me most of the time it is Regulator or those black things in the Alternator wear over time ,and as well Fuse ,in any way it is up to 40$ fix ,hope this helps ;) Mustang is such a fun strong lovley machine 😍
Omg thanks you just helped me out so much after buying two alternators already loss receipt now I have 2 350$ alternators and bought a battery from Walmart now they have a thing that once it’s in the car you can’t return but the check charging system is the power wire it’s not capable with my high output alternator

Just fixed mine , ground wire was loose the one behind the engine close to fire wall.

Anyone find out what the issue was ? I replaced my battery and just did the alternator yesterday and also same outcome, light still comes on 😳and I do have a fuse
I changed my alternator matter fact I’ve put a 250 amp one in and now I still get the battery light and check charging system comes on
