I appreciated this video so much you made me feel a lot more comfortable about what products I’m gonna try before the prep day to get things moving. Typical laxatives make me feel sick as well so I’m hoping the Suprep doesn’t make me feel too bad!
I’ve messed up on my first colonoscopy and then on the day of my second one I couldn’t get it bc the prep made me puke. Now I have another one in a few weeks and I hope my doctor gives me something I can keep down!!
Would u say miralax causes least nausea ??Tomorrow is prep day for me I’m using the clenpiq prep which I’ve never used before & im so nervous because I’m always nauseous already I also have chrons , I got 7cm of large intestine taken out 6 months ago , I deal with horrible constipation so I’m so nervous, I’m thinking of also taking Milk of magnesia today so it can clear some stuff out for tomorrow such a good tip!!
Hi Briee! I hope your colonoscopy went well. I got a little nauseous when things started moving quickly but not so much I thought I was going to get sick. Doing belly breathing and having regular bowel movements so I wasn't so blocked up on the day of the prep helped a lot the past few times.
I got diagnosed with Crohn's in 2018. When I got my colonoscopy I was so terrified no matter bow much sedation they gave me I was wide awake and in pain.
I'm so sorry to hear that. I talk about a similar experience in my first video. If you're a red head or just in general some people need a different kind of sedation. This is something you can talk about with your doctor.
You remind me of a younger Brie Larson. Her from 21 jump street movie look. I had a colonoscopy a week ago. Had sedation and strong pain killer. It’s quite annoying as the sedation did nothing and i could have easily have gone to work after. A waste of a day off. really. lol. They found nothing and it went smoothly. Seems like you handled it all well :).
It seems that I'm having a harder time than normal... That might because im anemic...the lowest a guy can be without danger a 16 im at a 7! This lax is PAINFUL and i got dizzy, light headed, there was some tingling and it felt like i got a fever! I drank about 3/4th of it and had to stop... im going to try to finish once i feel close to normal i DONT WANT TO DO THIS AGAIN! I used to be an alcoholic way back so DRINKING this extra thick Gatorade isn't the problem. Im seriously worried about passing out or making my blood even lower...
Hey Emily , I have a question about your hernia. Did they ever find it? I had the same issue but mine was never found, a year later I got Crohn’s. I’m starting to thing my hernia was actually the first flare in my small intestine. Cheers
Hi there! They did find it and I had it treated in 2015. I had an umbilical hernia that was very hard to see on any scans so when I had surgery to remove a damaged nerve, they found it and repaired it then. I hope that helps!

Does agree trigger a Crohn's flair for you? When I get really stressed I get a bad flair.
