Hey I’ve looked at your course online and I’m interested in enrolling. I didn’t see anywhere to contact you for questions I have. Where could I go to get that information so I could get some questions answered about the course (does my enrollment expire etc.)?
Great tips, tell us more!!! Thank you!
Great stuff, in a great format - thanks! Would love more about the token economy system. Cheers!
Awesome thanks! I'm actually excited about working tomorrow now!
Great tips that I’m going to start putting into action!

Tried the token economy method last week and I was shocked how much of a difference it made. Thanks so much for sharing!

More to come! Thanks!
What kind of positive reinforcement do you use? An extra minute of recess? What about for middle school? Candy? We have a strict no phone policy so I can’t tell them they can use them for 5 minutes at the end of class.
I'm working on a few videos that will cover reinforces. Stay tuned!
Great tips. More tips on middle school age?
Thank you! New subscriber!!
Agreed
Thanks for sharing

The backdrop for your video is great.
Glad you like it!
I'm a new sub who has 0 management skills. I'd love to try this, but if you're giving 5-8 at a time, that would fill the grid very quickly. I can't be giving 30 min of chrombebook time etc. What do you do when the grid is full. And what is in the prize box?
Thanks for your comment. The idea of the "grid" is to start off by quickly filling it and slowly elongating the amount of time it takes the students to earn stars. Show them it's easy at first. I am getting ready to release another video on the token economy system. Watch for that video soon!
I like steps 1 and 3, the emphasis placed on the personal connectivity, interactive energy and respect, but dont like the game nature of step 2. I see us being there to learn and do a job not being tricked into doing something even if it has a psychological angle. I was taught by nuns in school, and they would never use any angle or ploy to get you to behave and comply- that would be a waste of time to them.
It’s not a ploy. It’s an effective, proven, and scientifically backed approach to education used in the behavioral therapy field and can be applied to almost all students.
@@nimratkaur717 I dont believe in behavior therapy. Certain standards are not negotiable, and kids are not preprogrammed -they are individuals to be instructed on that level .
No it works. Even on adults. It's just human naturem
Substitute of the year? That's a thing? I have been a substitute teacher since Spring 2017 and I had never heard that before today.

I was awarded sub of the year last year, 2022-2023 school year for the high school where I work. It’s district specific.
Congrats!
