Thank you Joey! I learn something new every time you do a video. Please, continue geeking out. You create quality stuff on both sides of the camera and give insights that are exciting to think through.
I know some of these words haha. This video definitely isn’t geared toward me, and yet I found myself watching with rapt attention. Perhaps someone that’s actually in the field will be able to say better than me, but I found this video very well done. It was in-depth without being a snooze, and it gave me a perspective from behind-the-scenes that I, frankly, hadn’t put much thought into previously. Thanks for geeking out about some camera gear!
LsArts No, ‘ is the designation for feet, “ is for inches. I think the specs in the video were incorrect and it should have been 0.61” as Andrew suggested.
When I saw a review for it on here I assumed it would be like $1000. Then I saw it was only 720p. Red's been selling a 1080p OLED EVF for years for not much more than this one. I can't believe they're using a 720p EVF on a channel with 4.1 million subscribers.
MrDami123 I haven't used one but the key word I see is "looks". I seen a lot of products that look great but are poor in reality. Maybe it's the other way round here. Just a thought.
So most new cameras these days support Wifi operation, including a live view display. Seems like a modified VR headset might work for something like this. Perhaps just one screen that you could wear like glasses and flip up and down. Just thinking out loud here but it does seem like the setup here can get heavy quickly.
while it would be nice, the nature of RUclips's metrics would make that a bad move. Adam doesn't have the time to put out steady content, and that would result in a channel like that just being lost in youtube. Tested can put stuff out pretty much every day, which hits the system metrics properly and allows them to grow and maintain their viewership.

Good burger?
Thanks for the insight Joey :)
How is this holding up 5 years later? Found a good deal on one, thinking about picking it up...
If you don’t have it already, get a Ronin S for run-and-gun. Works with mirrorless cams extremely well. Have it with my Gh4. Love it.
“Mine is 7 inches at least”
I tell my girlfriend the same thing but she doesn’t believe me
Twm Burrows it may be naught but six inches, but it smells like a foot.
Am I the only one who saw the thumbnail and immediately thought of the new Prey game's Neuromods?
0.061" screen? Are you sure it's not 0.61"? 61 thousandths of an inch is very small. That's like 1/16" that can't be right.
" might be representative of feet and not inches. 0.061' would be 0.061 inches. I could be mistaken though

More Joey in front of camera please! :D
Zaccuto is so damn expensive. Very poor cost/reward

Cool ,thanks
0:30 the build quality looks poor

I think it's rubber material for absorbing hits.
Praise The OLED
Only $2450 plus tip!

Reminds me of the Neuro-mod from the latest Prey game
The name change is a little much. Should of just changed it to "Mythbusters Adam Savage and his Ego"
Very cool but very expensive
Adam will you ever make your own RUclips channel all this other stuff is cool but....

Tested IS Adam's own channel. He can post whatever he wants, whenever he wants, on this channel.
Wow
