The short dialogue at the end was particularly helpful! Although it was at normal speaking speed, the words used were simple enough so that I could understand what was being said. Perfect for improving listening skills! 谢谢你!

I just want to say that you are such a good teacher. You always explain everything so thoroughly and break everything down. I just discovered you, but have been watching your videos. The pronunciation explanation for the difficult sounds in the other videos were also explained so well. I have always felt like Taiwanese accent feels more natural to me compare to the mainland accent, but it’s been difficult to learn because there isn’t too many online resources that teaches Taiwanese mandarin. Thank you for taking the time to make all these videos to help the people that are interested in the language get a chance to learn it.
This is one of my favorite lessons! At the end where you twice showed the dialogue between you and your “clone”, I really appreciated your showing the 繁體字 version first, then the pinyin and translation. I found this particularly useful and effective. It reinforced the learning on multiple levels! 非常感謝
@@Tom-jg1ty Nothing is wrong with them, but they're used in the Mainland and some people aren't learning Mainland Chinese. Those of us who are learning Taiwan Mandarin need to see more videos with traditional characters.
It's very helpful ! I am retired Acupuncture Physician and must learn traditional characters first. My only other languages are English (native) and Russian. Your pronunciation is beautiful and a great help, thanks !! The every day patterns are great.
Your clone is really hard to motivate :D The lesson was very helpful - especially the funny dialogue in the end. Adding some fun to lessons is the best way to ensure things are remembered. 谢谢你!
Loved the dialogue at the end! I know the vocabulary that was used was very simple but still I feel a little proud of myself for being able to understand everything without looking at the simplified subtitles or the translation. Because it was a little fast for me, there were a few words I didn't hear clearly or didn't immediately recognize but I was still able to understand the sentence from the general context and from the tone of the "character" speaking.
Your lessons are outstanding. I would like to suggest that from now on, your grammar lessons should correspond to HSK levels or TOCFL levels. This will make it more organized for the purpose of studying in a logical and progressive manner. It would also make the lessons more organized for you as a teacher as well. Thanks!
Hello, thank you for such good advice! To be honest, I’m not that familiar with those exams yet, but I’ll start working on it! Really grateful for knowing these:)
@@GraceMandarinChinese Happy to help. Most of the information out there is organized according to China's official test 漢語水平考試 (HSK). Until now, I've never found any materials organized according to Taiwan's TOCFL. Maybe you will be the first!! 😂
NIhao Wo Jiao Sara. Wo Shi Tai Guo Ren. Wo Yao Xuexi Han Yu. Ni De Lessons are easy to understand. I love them so much. I have subscribed and turned on the notifications. Thank you for your lessons.
Your videos are great and i know that in taiwan the people use the traditional chinese but i really like when you put the simplified in your videos, keep going, you are awesome and really beautiful
I'm totally impressed by your video presentation :O. is very nice that u also included traditional so they make more sense to people who already know the radicals.
你好! I must confess I seldom write a comment on RUclips, but I felt compelled to complement the Typography of your videos. 我真的真的喜欢它。Very clean and elegant font choices! 加油!
谢谢你!很有用 :) Thank you for the lessons! You're videos are really helpful, the pacing and examples are perfect. Especially the dialogue with context at the end It's hard to find dialogues at the right level to study from at the beginning :)
Omg, you are really the best teacher. Thank you so much for your efforts. As I am learning Mandarin from Taiwan, it is very convenient for me to see sentences in Traditional characters, it's way easier for me to only switch PinYin to Zhuyin than to switch both the characters and Pinyin. Moreover, the dialogue, in the end, gave us some sense of how to use these sentences, it was very smooth
I'm not sure I'm ever gonna learn much mandarin chinese as my brain is slow in learning languages but I'm sure about that I love this channel as it's easy explained and overall done so well so I'm enjoying these videoes a lot
The last sentence's intonation「我的意思是說妳總是抱怨」is very interesting, the way you close the mouth which contributes to a more vibrant initials (consonants), the rise in intonation (whether it is in annoyance or excitement) and the slight rising in shoulders and neck contraction, I have also heard this same intonation and seen the same body language from maomaotv. It's super interesting, maybe you could do a video (or a series) on taiwanese intonation and accent. xD
Ni hao Grace, your lessons are amazing you think about every details to make such great videos! I am learning chinese and your videos are so useful I learn so much thanks to you xiéxié ni !! Zaijian
This is the best channel l have ever met. Thank you very much🧨💥 May you kindly make videos too on situations phrases. Mostly l work at a mine with the chinese. So it could be working at a mine chinese common chinese phrases video. Or doing sports with the chinese. Or working in a restaurant common phrases etc. Thank you in advance👊😁
Irish and Scottish + Mandarin all, follow slender, consonants and Slender vowels, broad consonants and broad, vowels, techniques. as in xi ji qi series. Russians and other Slavs, use same, called palatalization.
this video and the “commonly used phrases” is super helpful!! plus, learning more casual phrases is usually not part of textbook learning! i have a question: is there a difference between 我的意思是... and 我的意思是想说... and 我是说...

Huó dou 活動。

Huó dòng 活動
But very useful

@5:29 pinyin for 活动 is huodong, not huodou

Thank You So Much ❤
謝謝!
好棒的教學!! 口音非常標準、動聽! 獲益良多:)
BTW覺得中文句子其實可以不需要逐字翻譯,都是蠻直觀就能理解的字xd
不如直接整句翻,更能縮短影片長度,去蕪存菁~~
謝謝你喜歡! 其實這是做給外國人學中文的,所以就算我們認為簡單的單字我也一併附上翻譯~
