Prof Arun Kumar is always good to hear . Today he is excellent . In short time he touched every aspect from planning to budget . Thank you ,Mr Nair also .
I fully agree with Prof.Arun that villages are neglected,if people's in villages were gainful employed they don't have depend on government for free food as begin given
The very poor in our country are getting more poorer, day by day..... "Garibi hatao" first... which started 25 years ago, is very important... Half our citizens are able to take just one full meal only. In the past 10 - 15 years, rising prices everywhere, makes it very difficult for the common man's living. . . The present government and the opposition, together, should civilize, unite with each other and clean all the mess inside our country first, ..... most important to make unity & peace between religions..... instead of wasting public monies touring the world and fighting for elections... Lord Ram will be so happy too..... Journalists, media etc. should be debating about such issues.. It's a pity most of them are one sided, who do not care for the "very important issues inside our country" !
Sir kindly do a editorial about injustice to South India in alloting funds being from Karnataka we are confused who is telling lies is it BJP or Congress
Sujit a question that comes up from top down examples that Prof. Arunkumar gave, we needed examples of bottom up economy. I understand in Gujarat during Keshubhai regime we did have the same but I understand it was not successful.
Ram lalla is here. If Bjp rule this country Ram Rajya is possible. If Indi alliance come, 2004 will repeat .... will fall back to to corrupt, directionless and sqable some politics.
We are not thinking like people in developed countries, based on our culture and tradition, we believe prayer will bring lot of wealth to our family. So, all we need plenty of prayer places in every village.
This attitude is promoted by welthy people that they have got all these by the grace of god just to cover their unscrupulous money making activities . The poor follow suit but they have no access to ill gotten money. So they live poor and die poor inspite of their aredent belives and offerings.
Costliest-ever gift, a 5 crore diamond studded saree, offered to goddess Padmavathi by an Andhra industrialist the poor people follow suit however meagre it may be in anticipation of getting rich.
This is not a budget. Just a continuation of last year. Thank god no freebies announced. Tired of freebies announcements. Left people never like modi forget his budget.
These suggestions are absolutely ridiculous. Nowhere in the history of mankind has rural areas or agriculture led to modernization or industrialization. Instead of trying to continue the failed utopian kids dream of some sort of socialist rural peasant run economy India should focus on getting as many people as possible out of agriculture, as literally every other modernized country ever had done.
Out of agriculture to where? And when our traditional farming will die who'll make food for us? 😂 mere paas bolne ko shabd nahi haa kitna bada wala bhakti ka nade ma duba ho 😂.
@@Ind_u. Less people working in agriculture means larger farms owned by fewer people making agriculture more efficient and profitable. There’s a reason the US and China don’t starve despite having very few of their population working as farmers. The natural progression is for the excess agricultural labor to be taken up in manufacturing and in a smaller scale the service sector. It’s been the blueprint for economic development since the British did it 200 years ago.
@@jacobcantrell82 india doesn't have a manufacturing sector to absorb so many workers. Private players' investment is still sluggish in india and that is why they are sending laborers outside India to Israel. Service sector doesn't produce as many as jobs to absorb the graduates and some of them are unemployable due to outdated education. The nature of jobs is changing so fast that most of them are not labor intensive
I wish kerala rulers must watch this program. They take huge loan and spend that money only in big cities only. Most of the villages are very poor condition where people depend on dirty well water for drinking even after 75 years of independence. Can you imagine the efficiency and smartness of the rulers of kerala!!! They don't have vision to use the borrow money to generate income with profit to repayment. The rulers just misuse and mismanagement hat money.
The Government cannot present a budget which will satisfy all the intellectuals of India. Prof arun should win election and may be become the FM of India He can then present a budget which will make India 5 trillion economic power within 2 yrs, solve all unemployment problems and empower all women of India.
The best part is...even though it is to criticise the govt....these leftist are talking about ram rajya and maryadapurushotam...we shoukd appreciate that 😂😂
He's speaking like an ignorant idiot he is. Imagine bashing infrastructure development for a country suffering from broken water logged roads, over congested trains and demanding development while being shameless enough to call himself an economist
Prof Arunkumar tried maximum to explain, He was always saying abiut rural urban unemployment, in real scenario unemployment is quite less. Since its a usual phrase, unemployment, poverty etc, it has to b discarded off late, since presently the BPL population is hardly 0.7 or less. Secondly, the govt is spending more on infrastructure and capitalisation by building corridirs for large manufacturing units. So I dont know, how a country can have sustainable growth with out infrastructure?. So show Patience. This govt has a vision that by 2030 we must have 7trillion gdp. And it will happen. Arithamaticcally you want 10 to 11% annual growth, but a regular 8 % growth can achieve this gdp.The govt is focussing on rural development also, by improving our Agri sector continuously, thats how we coukd export our Agri products. Nair..... You must clear up your mind.

Thank you professor for your insight. Hope your views will be taken seriously by politicians
As always very insightful... Thank you Sirs...
VERY WELL EXPLAINED BY PROF. ARUN KUMAR JI.
I fully agree with Prof.Arun that villages are neglected,if people's in villages were gainful employed they don't have depend on government for free food as begin given
Villages are happy with whatever little they have. So, policymakers don't focus on that.
Professor Arun Kumar is a Master 🙏
Very informative
Very interesting dialogue. Thanks Mr Sudhir Nair for this.
Thank you
Why can't the governing 'Government' bring such intellectuals, to the parliament, for discussion and consultation, before, taking decisions!

Strange that rural and poor india is the largest vote bank for the gov. Seems like people just prefer to remain poor.
Emotions is a big factor.. BJP is giving them emotions rather than money and in the urban they are putting money.

Modi's ruling is Ramarajya for only super rich like Adani s and Ambani's, it's ravanrajya for poorest of the poor in the country.
