I can’t believe I was there! I feel like after this event I finally had some kind of closure regarding Alexis passing 😢 It was so nice and heartbreaking to hear his brothers speaking so beautifully about him and their music ❤
I just love these guys, I could listen to this all day. Please don't ever stop working together because it's really the only way for relatively new fans (like me, got into CoB you after Alexi's passing) to feel engaged and connected to the band. I didn't have a chance to see you live and I will regret it forever but fortunetely there are videos like this one that really make me feel that the band is still there. Currently I'm looking forward to visiting Bodom Bar (and Finland for the first time). And waiting for the book guys, I hope there will be also Polish release! Anyway, keep it on, idols! \w/
I'm only 10 mins in and this video is such a dream. Jaska is speaking a lot more than I've seen previously and it's great to get to kjow him more. Loving IC
So great to see you guys together. I really hope you get together again and do one big final show, with the people and bands that are inspired by COB's music and just as a tribute to Alexi. I think he did deserve a more appropriate goodbye. When a band member passes away, the remaining members usually do this and I think Alexi's influence on metal music and guitar world wasn't any less than people like Taylor Hawkins. I remember when he passed away Foo Fighters did a bunch of shows as tribute. Or Slipkont dedicated some shows to Joey and Paul Gray. Alexi inspired so many people to pick up and learn guitar. He deserves something big.
Well, guys said once before something like that they don't imagine COB without Aleksi. Let's other bands, artists play, but not them together without him. So...
@@seelentau tribute is when the band does not exist, and someone else pay that tribute. Pretty true about COB, they do not exist as a music band. But the question is who should play the show. So, these three (Jaska, Janne and Henkka) said that they can't do that. End of *** story. Although I might say that they organise another form of tribute - and for many of fans it looks like just making money, right. But wait, what about new fans who couldn't follow the band when it was active and Aleksi was alive? They also want some fan shit like merch, CD's, posters and so on. So as for me they do what is possible without involving into impossible (for them) stuff. End of... you know, yeah. :)
Thank you for the shout out guys!! ❤️❤️❤️ COB is still and will always be my favorite metal band of all time!!! It’s a dream of mine to have Sixpounder or Trashed Lost and Strungout on Nailthemix some day.
@@postilaatikko7384 Not "be there". As I said, he's not remembered in conversations about their history. It turns out I had forgotten that in what I believe was their first stream after Alexi's passing, Wirman does mention Roope in one of the stories they are telling.
