After being gaslighted by people telling me The Boys season 4 isn't woke but "still makes fun all sides.", this was a well-timed upload. Hopefully you weather the copyright bullshit.
Glad to see these returning to RUclips
Too bad the last 7 months of streams got taken down .
Same!
@@Acknaar Why? What did he say?
@bud389
Copyright. Quite literally just that!
DS9 was amazing. Better than any current Star Trek.
That's not saying much. It was an amazing series, though.
That´s not really much of an achievement.
A toddler's scribbles made from the shit in its diaper is better than current Trek
Better than any past Star Trek too.
Ent was better than any current trek.
“How Odo got his groove back”
How Odo got his "O face" back.
Funny thing, I was just reading about Napoleon's junk, its whereabouts, and his heirs (who presumably own it). It turns out René Auberjonois was a Bonaparte! I'm sure that's old news to Trekkers, but I was rather taken aback. I mean, he's got presence. I can see it.
Today I learned something from a brick
@@TheRedThirstI know bricks that have been laid multiple times...
Angela Lansbury:"Has there been a murder?"
Geoff Peterson: "In my pants."
Razor, dude, you’re firing these Depths of DS9 videos out like a Maxim. Good work
Whatever happens, we have got
Depths of DS9, and they have not
Wanna talk about vaporizing not making sense? Take a look at Star Trek VI. They fire a phaser at a pot of some kind of porridge and it vaporizes the pot, but LEAVES the porridge.
No,. that's porridge alright. Let it dry and the only way you're get that pot clean is with a sandblaster.
The really silly thing is Chekov was Security Chief in TMP, first officer in TWOK, and back at Security until Star Trek V. He would KNOW about the phaser thing. Bare minimum their roles should have been reserved... Though its an insane thing to do. She could have killed someone to "demonstrate" that bullshit.
Then they establish that nobody can fire a phaser aboard a starship without setting off an alarm, except of course for every other phaser that will ever be fired in every subsequent episode of the entire franchise from then until now. 😂
Nah, that was just a hearty Irish potato chowder. It would resist phaser fire, unless the phaser was set to "famine"
And why were there phasers in the galley in the first place? For the food critics?
The more I rewatch DS9 and the more I watch Razors and Terrans discussions about the episodes, the more I realise this was PEAK Trek
It really was. Seasons 4 through 7 were gripping, emotional, heartbreaking, and endlessly rewatchable.
@@jondorsey2043 I like how you excluded the season 2 Allamaraine
@@funkydiscogod You'll forgive me for forgetting it? Also, it was before the seasons i mentioned? :D
@@funkydiscogod Don't worry, i've posted a lot of dumb ass comments on the platform without realizing it also.

RazörFist is feeding us well with these DS9 retrospectives.
Odo can shape shift into any race except human for some reason.
Kings Island HAD Paramount/MGM IP rides. It was bought decades ago by Cedar Fair in 2006 and the rides were re-branded.
Being from Wilmington Ohio I have been to King's Island twice
I remember them piping music from The Addams Family and the Astral Symphony Star Trek movie score CD's through the park.
It was awesome.
Kings Island is no longer owned by Paramount. It’s now owned by Cedar Fair, which also owns Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio and which beats the Hell out of Kings Island as far as roller coasters go. It’s also on the shores of Lake Erie and has a hotel on a beach.
it has been years, maybe a decade since I have watched an episode of this show, but seconds into your intro that music brought it back. I really loved TNG and DS9's intro music.
Gentlemen! I am so grateful for the hard work and amazing content here in deep space, I am just curious though if there is any chance of Friday's stream being re-uploaded? I had company and missed 90% of it and I am jonesin for my fix. I believe in your editing power, Terran Gell!
Thanks so much!
Godspeed!
Sucks the live stream got taken down. I was half way through watching it when it got removed. Copy right I assume?
Odo gets some tail. That is what it should be called.
A wifu to be exact.
May be an unpopular thing to say.. These are my favorite Razorfist videos.
She calls it 'furniture', not a sculpture or art. Does she know that much about Odo?
I’m glad these are back on RUclips to see. You always mange to point out one or two things I didn’t know or notice, such as the babe referred to in the holoprogram of Bashir’s, then that the guest actress in this one was also in TNG as well as ENT in the same dress for all three.
Now the important question, one that could shack the memes relating to you. When will the review of ENT episode “Bound”? You know, the one with the Orion sisters. 😀🙏🎉😉
I refuse to comment to avoid incriminating myself.
MGM owes everything they have to Thomas Edison.
Did you add an extra drumbeat to the opening?
It’s the copyright snare hahaha
rip to kings island paramount deal
Glad I'm not the only one who thought it odd that the love interest was dumbed down by putting her in a potato sack. It's even more noticeable because you have the woman in the blue dress and, as Razor put it, she is smoking hot. Also you are coming off an episode that had the bar babe, I forget her name, as the focus of the B plot.
Dey Young wore much sexier dresses on TNG and ENT so this particular look was a choice
The second I heard “alien in a hoodie” I knew skittles and sprite was gonna be said.
At least the DS9 writers were able to tell us the enigmatic Idanian/I'danian race were more than just about their spice pudding.
Ds9 stole the net girl thing from cyberpunk. Specifically cyberpunk is heavily based on william gibson's sprawl trilogy (first of which is Neuromancer), which features such ideas. Sim stim, doll cutouts, etc.
I think there was a bit of a slip-of-the-tongue there during the brief mention of the Vic Fontaine actor. James Darren played Vic Fontaine. Bobby Darin was a musician and roughly the same age as James Darren, but Bobby Darin died young and was never involved with DS9.
This episode always reminds me of The X-files S05E03 Unusual Suspects - The episode where The Lone Gunmen come together to help Susanne Modeski. Both eps aired in 1997 & they share a few of the same plot elements.
I love this show!
But I'm gonna bitch about something else. What happened to this past Friday's Razorfist Arcade!? Warhammer Boltgun! I looked forward to it all damn day I got home and it was there . I take a shower and grab something to eat sit down to watch it and eat and it's gone! Then it never came back!? I looked on RUclips and Rumble I even tried to check Twitch but I don't know anything about it!?!?
To me, nothing sums up this show like the first 30 seconds of this video.
DS9 is the shining example of how to subvert the story and themes and take the story into bold new directions with pure intention and masterful skill. It's what Kurtzman and those behind projects like Star Trek: Discovery continually fail at over and over. DS9 was well written stories told within the StarTrek universe with StarTrek characters. But it still wasn't "Star Trek" to me.
James Darren who plays Vic Fontaine is NOT related to Bobby Darin who not only spells his name differently, but Darren is not James’ actual birth name.
Oh my…”Did you ever eat fondue?” 🤮
FYI, Cedar Point is better than King’s Island.
And yeah, original Narrow Margin is badass.
It's not a good place unless it openly portrays a: "condemned by the commerce authority" sign..
Don't mind me, I'm just casing the joint.
Haha hell yea awesome shoutout to Kings Island!
Unfortunately no longer ownd by Paramount. I miss when it was. The rides were all movie themed and they had Star Trek characters (and Hannah Barberra) that all walked around the park
"I wouldn't mind being in a gelatinous state"
-her.
Top notch dialogue. Not cringe at all.
Ii just watched this episode two nights ago because I knew I had this vid in my Watch Later playlist:-)
I'm still of the mind the underutilization of the Breen among other things was another reason that, despite how big the dominion war was in the timeline, it felt rather flat and not as large or protracted as it should have been.
I get not making Star Trek into Battlestar Trek, but it really needed to depict the war as you know, a war.
I thought these were done. Apparently you've continued the series somewhere.....
The intro is a huge jump up in quality, holy shit!
Captain Fist! There is a request to do “Who Mourns for Morn!” Requesting immediate action sir!
Who added that drum beat and riff to the theme? That is beast
I have no idea what Razor is talking about but as long as he's having fun doing it I'm happy
Oh yeah, glad you are continuing this series. The next episode intros are 👌.
Shoulda had a pair of smoking boots left behind instead of carpet burns
Is razor deleting his live streams for some reason or youtube pulling some?
"Licensed to Thrill" Kings Island is no longer owned by Paramount (unfortunately). I went on that ride and the line was better as it had been years since it's release, but it was still popular. Most of the rollercoasters are still there, except for Son of Beast, they all just have different names.
Vortex was retired a few years ago. Firehawk was replaced by Orion.
Hola senior fist are you going stream snipe the debate between dementia Joe and Trump?
Man I sure don't care about star trek but I sure am gonna watch these
@TheRageaholic what are your thoughts on the current daredevil run
Investigate your gaming streams not being available for view later.
Rageaholic you should review the episode "DUET"
We did!
Hell yeah. Another episode I like
Thanks for this video.

Indeed!
I just found out that Dey Young was the daughter-in-law of Alan Ladd, through marriage to his son, David. Sadly, she never met him as Mr. Ladd passed nearly 20 years before she and his son married.
You're getting a view, a like and a comment. This is one of the best DS9 episodes and my favorite Odo. But I don't feel like crying tonight so please forgive me for skipping out.
This is one of those stand alone episodes that hit very nicely while the Federation was in the midst of the Dominion conflict build-up.
I grew up In a little town called blanchester Like a half hour's drive from kings island. In addition to the star trek stuff they also had hanabarbara, I went there the first time probably in like 95 or 96 when I was like 6 myself and won A pretty nicely made stuffed scooby doo that I still have put away in a closet somewhere that place was amazing! I don't think I've ever heard anyone else mention it who didn't grow up around it.
Mr. House from New Vegas. Complete with a chip McGuffin.
King's Island is now owned by Cedar Fair unfortunately. The garden area that had the Star Trek stuff is now a smoking area.
Did you see the deleted scenes on this one? One of them has Odo stun Garak in the leg. Odo stomps on the wound why interrogating him. Garak keeps whining about his rights under the Prime Directive. Originally, the episode was going to end with Garak hijacking a runabout and demanding the hostages sing. It was intense, man.
I'm surprised he skipped past the Sisko's reaction to Odo dipping his Link; "That's niiiice." 😆
So happy there has been a return to Depths of DS9. I will watch this and hope the Oilers can comeback from a 2-1 deficit.
Hahah Oilers lost, so this was a better use of my time.
Hot damn Razer, seeing this series pop up in my feed is more potent than viagra but easier on my hips. Keep it coming brother.
Another DoDS9??? What sorcery is this?!
Star Trek from TNG on down has always had issues when they try to make a female characters "sexy". It almost always comes out either wrong and/or cringe. Once in a while they get it right.
Sometimes, sexy can be like a baseball bat over the head, such as with the Orion women and T’Pol.. Seven of Nine.. Dax women..
hell yea
Bout time! Lol
aukainian-oke-e-dokes!!
Love your DS9 episode reviews with your buddy Ghel. Please keep them coming!
When in hell was Odo human? He was thought to be one of one, until the wormhole broke, his race showed up and he regained those memories....
The Founders turned him into a Solid because he broke the Founders Prime Axiom (no Changeling has ever harmed another)
He was made a "solid" as a punishment for several episodes.
Later on, Odo comes across a baby changeling that's sick and takes care of it, drawing the attention of Starfleet and Doctor Mora Pol, the Bajoran scientist that experimented on him during the occupation. They go over that strained relationship and the animosity Odo still held for Mora, while trying to teach this baby changeling how to shift via more "modern" touchy-feely methods (of the 1990's) in contrast to Mora's more scientific methods.
Eventually, the sickness returns to the baby changeling and as a final act before dying, it dissolved into Odo and restored his shape shifting.
Odo was human from the end of the fourth season finale "Broken Link" thru season five's "The Begotten".
Not gonna lie. This is probably the best content on here in a while. It's made me appreciate just how damn good this series became.
Back at it again! Thank you for all of your work. This pleases The Mulletteer.
The weakness to this and similar epispdes is how little the villains come up. It's supposed to be space utopia yet they have the mob in the background, and only when they seem tired of using the normal reoccuring threats. I'm not one to see Trek as a genre you can't mess with, and a grittier crime show delving into this would be refreshing if nothing else.
first
First!
If he likes DS9 so much I can't wait until the day he discovers the original and far better space station show that ds9 ripped off. Would love to see a series talking about B5.
He likes B5 a lot. But he disagrees about the ripoff part and in someways B5 ripped of DS9. He mentioned he may do a video on or someday.
@@errortaptoretry6019 Considering that JMS pitched the idea of B5 to cbs and they rejected it and then after he makes B5 they just so happen to make a space station show it seems pretty obvious where they got their inspiration. I grew up watching both shows as they aired and while ds9 is great in its own way it doesn't hold a candle to B5.
You honestly can't even really compare them, ds9 is just another episodic star trek show that has an extremely loose storyline while B5 is a masterfully crafted story told over 4 seasons.
Still I would love to see him at least make a video talking about his thoughts on the show.
@@bt636 B5 wasn’t even pitched to the same company that made DS9. Again, razorfist has talked about this and debunked it.
@@errortaptoretry6019 Straczynski indicated that Paramount Television was aware of his concept as early as 1989,[121][122] when he attempted to sell the show to the studio, and provided them with the series bible, pilot script, artwork, lengthy character background histories, and plot synopses for 22 "or so planned episodes taken from the overall course of the planned series
So wikipedia and JMS are lying? Come on, it's so obvious where the inspiration came from and even if it somehow didn't B5 is still the clearly superior show.
