Good shooting that Richard and spot on shot placement Just one thing not a critical but essential Put your rifles on slings I do , rifle on right shoulder, thermal in right hand and sticks in left so much easier
I just bought that hawke frontier scope from uttings a couple of weeks ago as it was on offer at 350 quid. It was too good an offer to resist and i have to agree with everything Matt says. It is superb. I wish i owned another rifle so i could buy another one. There's a thought...
@@tonysimpson4297 Hi Tony. I can guarantee that if you can shoot a springer accurately you'll be able to shoot a PCP as well! Of course much depends on the quality of the rifle, but assuming you have a decent rifle/scope and the right pellets, PCPs are capable of staggering levels of accuracy due mainly, I guess, to the lack of any recoil.
@@tonysimpson4297 A lot easier to cock as well Tony! The only thing you need to get squared away is an air supply. Are you a member of a club as most have compressed air for members? If not, then you'd need to consider buying an air bottle and locating your nearest dive shop to get it refilled every now and then.
My rabbit permission is shot at night only as it's in use in the day. It's insanely difficult, it's flat open ground, the rabbits bolt on seeing you at very long ranges, most the time they run away at 130 - 150 yards if you are lucky you might get within 80 - 100 yards of one. I have had to become a master air gun shot and use full ballistics data, all my rabbit kills are between 100 and 140 yards with a .25 cal 40ft / lbs , I can only dream of getting this close lol. I am currently in the process of working towards getting a license upgrade for a .17 hmr
Nice rabbit shoot, although I try to resist shooting them facing me as I want them to be lead-free (for kitchen upcycling), which is easy with an FAC rifle when you shoot them side-on thanks to the pass-through. 🤷🏻♂️ Only thing puzzling me Rich is why not include the thermal spotter footage before each shot -that would make for an even more interesting / complete video? Cheers. Russ
@@richsaunders6515 No worries Rich, just offering a suggestion... BTW have you seen the new RUclips rules (AKA draconian limitations), that prevent monetising videos showing guns with NV or thermal kit, lumping such videos among bump stocks & hi-cap mags?!? 😱😭 ruclips.net/video/6gkJ4cVPi1c/видео.html Cheers. Please tell and show us what rubber boots you use! If I am not mistaken, is a piece of equipment that you haven't shown us for now. I'd greatly appreciate it!
Rich is a great ambassador for our sport - enough said.
Too kind Graham. I think we all try and do our bit don't we? Thanks for watching.
Great episode as always 👏. New intro is pretty cool too.
Good man Matt....that scope could be just the thing for my Christmas stocking!
Great shooting from Richard👍👍👍👍👍👍😎😎😎
Thanks Alan.
Cracking video Richard....some nice kit and nice shooting 😉👍
Thanks Nigel...
Hawk is Excellent and customer service if for any reason your scope has anything wrong they will fix it or replace it 1000% best company

Thanks very much Dave. I sure could have done with a sling that night!
Love the show. I have a frontier and love it, but the focus ring is stiff and it came new with no scope caps.

Great shooting mate, shoot a few tomatoes cheers .. Tom LI NY
I use Hawke scopes on most of my air rifles and my rimfires 👍🇬🇧
I fancy trying a FFP scope but will they work with night vision ?
Great video as always, what is the silencer? Is it a Donny FL?
Thanks very much. Yes, its a Donny FL Tatsu.
What kind of gun and scope are you using for the night shooting?
The rifle was a Daystate Delta Wolf .22 calibre 35 ft.lbs. and the scope was a Pard NV008. Thanks for watching.
Perhaps buy I microphone and you can talk quietly as well as have us hear you. Otherwise good stuff as always.
You'll be pleased to know that I've invested in a new all singing and dancing camera and microphone.
