For correctness, the 7-ct Poly sets start as low as ~$90, especially in the new kickstarter.
DogMight BRAND NEW Artifact Dice Kickstarter is live. Crazy organic cores in these dice, like Abalone, Tortoise Shell, and Coyote Bone!

Unique dice are the bane of my existence... or rather the bane of my wallet’s existence. These are incredible.

They sure are! Be sure to look at their Kickstarter I just linked here -- even more insane stuff coming out of my friends at DogMight.

They are really awesome!! But, tbh.. they are unbelievably expensive

They definitely represent the highest end of the dice market -- thats for sure!

i really think they are worth the money and effort, but still 50-100S for a die, well i know there are even more expensive but still that kind of crosses the pain mark for me ^^

Yeah... I'm sitting here thinking for the same price of one of their higher end sets, you could buy a decent guitar. But at the same time, someone for whom this is their sole hobby, a set of these may be more personally valuable than an instrument, so to each their own, I suppose.
For me, the cost of these high-quality, hand-made, wooden gaming accessories will probably always be too prohibitive, and I get a little irked seeing a company that sells a small box for hundreds of dollars doing another kickstarter, (not referring only to DogMight either) but if I could get away with that I would probably do the same thing.

I updated the pinned comment -- DogMight does have some 7-ct poly sets that start below a hundred dollars, so 150 is definitely not the entry point.

You mentioned the durability of the inlays, but I'm more concerned about the actual wood. Do they eventually mar, scar, or dent when thrown with other dice? Are the edges going to get dulled or otherwise deformed being repeatedly dropped through a wooden dice tower?

I asked the DogMight guys about this -- they said they haven't ever had a chip happen on these in all their testing. I expect the hardness of the exotic hardwoods that they're using contribute to that ruggedness.
I'll do some testing with my own wooden dice tower to check for denting -- but I expect it to survive pretty well. I wouldn't throw these with my steel dice though, why risk it yknow?

Hey Andrew -- thanks for checking in! We're taking a small break from filming, some real life details got crazy and got in the way of filming new bits. We'll be back in a few weeks with some new content and new formats! Stay tuned!

Those have been burning a hole in my head, I swear. I'll finish the list, and cover some of Mercer's other top publications I promise!

Titan Bear Gaming that would be amazing. Just make sure everything’s ok outside the channel first, we can wait a bit more 👍🏼

You're a gem Andrew. Rest assured that everything is fine -- my wife and I welcomed our first child this month! Both the Titan Cub and the Titan Mama are perfectly healthy. So things are excellent, just a little preoccupied for getting in front of a camera. Fear not -- the Cub will make his appearance on the channel soon :P
