Those are good equipment for your ASMR videos. Speaking of which, I felt relieved after I watched your previous videos whenever I had some bummed times.
That was a very educational and entertaining ASMR set up video, P.S your video is making me feel a little bit better while I'm in bed dealing with Covid Melissa 🙏🙏
Can you do a video of how to connect the yeti to a camera ? I want to film ASMR on a camera w a yeti so I can transfer camera video to iMovie on my laptop
Thanks for the video. Good tips about equipment. I need to know how to start from scratch. Like are the videos automatically uploaded to You Tube when connected and then you edit? I guess they have a sign up tutorial. I don't plan to do ASMR. I have some things I want to post that teach spiritual stuff. Maybe some people will call them asmr. For me, it will be tutorials on what it's really all about. Thanks again.
Ok im into filming and I have a Sony a6400 and a Sony a7 III that camera she is using is a 3’500$ camera that has amazing quality if your looking for something cheaper the a6000 series are great starter camera and a decent upgrade from an iPhone
Great video! Question. How does one avoid having to sync audio and video during the editing process? Many are having to/choosing to do this. In effort to eliminate this step, would I simply need to make sure that the mic I choose plugs directly into both the laptop AND the camera to override the audio that the cell/cam is picking up?? Also, if that's the case, is there a Windows program you might suggest I run everything through that would allow me to make minor edits? Thanks! 🙏🏼
I'd actually suggest using the RODE Wireless GO as a receiver. It's wireless and syncs the audio directly to your footage. You can plug in your mic into the receiver and it will work perfect!
@@KawaiiKittenASMR So to be clear, would the mic and cell/camera run through this adapter into my cell? Is that what you're saying? 🙂 The connection set up is my biggest challenge. I'm not the best when it comes to the technical side and I want to feel confident about it. I appreciate you.
What I do before I start recording, is any "recording take one" or you can clap. Then when going into post production to edit, I line up the audio with the video footage based off that audio.
I read that the xlr connection is better than the 3.5 mm one. Is it then better to use the xlr to connect to a camera? And how would you do that with a Canon m50?
Technically the xlr connection is better but not too noticeable of a difference from the 3.5 mm. If you would want to use the xlr you would need to get a female XLR to a 3.5mm stereo cable in order to connect it with you Canon
Very helpful vid, thanks. Can you use a Blue Yeti mic and a separate external webcam...? Is there software that let's someone record both at the same time. Or do you have to have two programmes open at the same time - eg Audacity and Filmora? It's all a bit confusing when you start out...?
I record with my sony camera separately from my Blue Yeti mic. So I import the video footage and overlay it on top of the audio from my Blue yeti. But I’m sure there is a way to record your webcam footage and audio at the same time. I will be posting an editing process video soon, so I can fully explain step by step
Thx for the advice. But I think for somebody just starting out these equipment is to expensive. If you have to buy all that stuff it's to much. The yeti is okay... May be you can start out with a smartphone...a audio interface and so on...
Such a good video! My question is how do you avoid a bunch of noise while getting great sound on the 3dio? I connect mine to a usb audio preamp / interface that connects to my pc and my pc fans make noise. I try to edit it out but editing also ruins the sound. I’ve tried moving away as well and that doesn’t help either.
Yea I hear you, that’s why I use a portable interface (H4N Pro) to avoid any external noises. It is also easier to move around and record anywhere you want. You could look at purchasing the H1N, it’s affordable and might be the solution you are looking for
So you need to mess around with the gain on the interface and depending on what you edit in, I use a free program called Audacity, you record about 30 seconds of room sound and you can use a noise reduction that will help cut some of the room sound and shouldn't effect the recording. But definitely I had my gain up too much as I was having the same issue.
Mam! I have Rode NTG mic and Mark M50 M2 mirror less camera. And i want to make ASMR video of cooking (means not animation) Can i make ASMR video with only two gadgets? Please🙏 reply me Kitten Mam🙏🙏🙏

What if you don't have Mac, what is a good program to use to record video/audio and edit it?
Thanks it was helpful.
I have question
How to record video with sound on same time ?
Sorry can you please clarify?
@@KawaiiKittenASMR I mean how to record video and using mic 🎤 to record on same time
I already have a blues yeti..and a senheiser monitor headphone. Will that do for now ?

Which camera do you use
How do you film it the usb going to the computer but the other is for headphones so .. isn’t something suppose to be connected to the camera 😭😭
My situation is my blue yeti doest pick up both sides separately when recording on the software apps 😩
I bought a 3DIO and a mixer (2 output) usb. I messed up in spending more than I needed to I suppose. Have a blue snowball for casual stuff.
Do I need the h4n to make videos
