This movie is still amazing nearly 20 years on. It strikes one of the best balances in appeal to adults and children thanks to the characters & writing of its themes
As a child, you're more interested in the adventure and the colourful characters. But as an adult, and possibly a parent yourself, you appreciate the message of Marlin realising that he can't protect Nemo forever, and learning how to gradually let him go.
Definitely in my top 3 Pixar movies, still a perfection when it comes to storytelling, animation, characters, themes... Perhaps my favourite movie when i was a child, had to watch it 40 times.
I remember when this movie first came out, it was a phenomenon for about 6 months-year... I remember feeling like Pixar/Disney had returned to the classic emotional Animated movies like "Fox & The Hound", "Bambi" and (Not Animated, but Animal) "Homeward Bound" I remember feeling excited about the path they were on towards future movies. Sadly, unknown at the time, this was the high-water mark.
Personally the Nemo franchise is one of my favorite franchises of the Disney and Pixar movies because I love the sea kind of environment and the characters
The film still holds up, and easily puts Finding Dory to shame. I didn’t see what the hype was for Finding Dory, since I didn’t really like it a whole lot
The only gripe I have with this movie was the scene in which Dory and Marlin are inside the whale. I feel like it drags for too long and when I was little I found it very unrealistic that there was light inside the whale´s closed mouth. But those are just nitpicks of a movie that could be considered one of Pixar´s best no doubt.
Not saying you're wrong, or that there's anything wrong with the movie; not at all. But I just wanted to point out that the "telephone" scen wasn't really THAT original; there was the "Twilight Bark" in Disney's own '101 Dalmations'. And the overall themes were really nothing new either; even Don Bluth tackled it in the past. That is not to say, however, that Pixar didn't find a wonderful, touching new way to portray them. =)
Silly movie. We know where Nemo is. Prince Dakar worked with the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (cf. the writings of Alan Moore) you can also watch the movie (Sean Connery's LAST movie as it happened) After Captain Nemo finally died his daughter was occasionally the ally and occasionally the enemy of the League. I know, this is about the Pixar fishy, but I am too old to have seen the film, but I have heard nothing but good things about it from my younger kinfolk. So, right on, Pixar! Far out and solid, dudes and dudettes!
Finding Nemo may be an utterly likable animated diversion, but when it comes to marine biology, this is not a proper introduction to children about marine biology. Barracudas don't eat clownfish eggs, brown pelicans like Nigel live in Florida, not Sydney. Green sea turtles like Crush don't live up to 150 years, also that is not still young, and even if you flush a live fish down the drain, it will actually kill it. For for recommendation: check out Disneynature's Oceans instead.
With so much research into fish to make this movie, how did they overlook the fact that male clownfish change sex when the female dies? But I guess that would've been too trans-forward for Disney in 2003.
What? Why would the male clownfish change sex if there's no other clownfish even in this picture? Your logic is incredibly flawed and is filled with wokeness to try to push something when there is nothing there. Gfytyvm
I used to think Finding Nemo was the best Pixar movie, but then I had a traumatic brain injury that left me with an IQ of 12. Since then, I think the Cars movies are amazing.

I think inside out does that balance better but this film is still pretty good.

Indeed. It really changes as you get older
True

Nemos Egg Theme song immediately gives me nostalgia and brings me back to a simpler time
I literally just rewatched this for the first one in years. Film holds up incredibly. Masterpiece
One of the best Pixar films ever made.
I don’t think there will ever be another movie like Finding Nemo.
Definitely in my top 3 Pixar movies, still a perfection when it comes to storytelling, animation, characters, themes... Perhaps my favourite movie when i was a child, had to watch it 40 times.
I have always loved Albert Brooks, he was the perfect choice for Marlin. 👍

I don't know how many times in my life when things have gotten hard do I find myself saying just keep swimming just keep swimming just keep swimming

Every movie Pixar created was a masterpiece until 2010.
I thought Toy Story 3 was the last great Pixar movie. There have been good ones since then, but not great
Up and Inside Out we’re both great.
@@Omar-wq9dz personally didn’t love it as much but I still think 1 and 2 are some of the best movies ever not just animated.
@@adamwest8711 I love up so much but inside out idk didn’t do it for me.
This is my favorite Pixar movie
Back when Pixar films were truly worth watching and were truly unique. Nowadays...eh.
Gonna have to go with Wall-E.
Fantastic Documentary that highlight what hard work it is to make an Animation movie of Quality and the result that comes out of it. Respect 🙂👌

Gotta watch this before you pull it down for the third time
Thanks for the video!! See you later!! Stay safe.😊

"Coughs" I will point out that this movie was the the foundation an created a new spot for the movie Happy Feet series"
Yes
Wall-e for me
I love that movie.
Im not crying, you are crying

Finding Nemo is a great movie but IMO Toy story is the best Pixar movie.
I would think so, because it actually won a Oscar and it lead to a sequel
I still think A Bug's Life is the best. Imo anyways.
I’m surprised they didn’t milk this dry like toy story cars and monster inc
Ratatouille

Lol, no. Wall-E!
No. But it was good.

Toy Story.

This puts the Slogan "finding Marlin" into a new light

They are both beautiful films that will last a forever
Actually you're wrong, Baby Neptune is WAY better
I thought FINDING DORY was much better than FINDING NEMO. Also, the best Pixar movie in my opinion is TOY STORY 3!
Strangely I just don't feel like watching 'toy story', I'm an animal person
Whoooo lives in a pineapple under the sea...
Pixar's best? The studio that made Toy Story and The Incredibles? Definitely not.
Nemo >
As near perfect as they are, they dont hold a candle to finding nemo
Not even in the top 10. But thanks for asking.
Does anyone care?
You, apparently. And the author, since that's literally a question he's asking.
No it is not, find a fish 😒
Simple - no!
