I think the best way to judge it would be the version we get in the actual intro, unlike how most people seem to be judging it just from this showing. As it is, I quite like it. Gives me the feeling of watching the 9th and 10th Doctor's intros but with more grandness to it. It definitely parallels the vibes they've got with the trailers, where the story arc seems to be more serious given the stakes are high with Donna being in danger, being a beloved companion and all.
Yeah I agree. The televised version and live orchestra versions are always slightly different to each other. I can't wait to see what the full into will be like
I’m pretty sure the Twitter release is the studio recorded version… Which is different from the live recording released online. Due to that I’m a bit doubtful that there’s going to be much different upon the episode’s airing. But I’m open to improvements if they do ever happen.

This is so similar to 10’s theme but ever so slightly different and I love it, can’t wait to see David tennant in all his glory, he’s in my opinion the best doctor from the new series’s even though he had a very controversial start, I’m glad everyone grew to love him
Reminds me of Matt's theme, and I really like those stringy secondary melodies, I think it'll work out really well

I think it’ll grow on me much like when 11’s came along. At least its not 13’s 😭😭 that was painful and I skipped every intro theme
I would say that the only downfall would be the lack of 'heartbeat' that is congruent with ALL Dr Who intro's, that 4 beat can barely be heard this time around.

Its not perfect but ok at least, my favorite Dr who theme would be the War Doctor's version. Im mostly a huge fan of epic and medieval style of music
