When I was 12 my parents bought a fully furnished home that had a record player in a very fancy stand that was loaded with records from WWII and just before. I think they bought the house just for that music! They were amateur dancers and Dad had landed on D-Day plus 2, Mom was working in a munitions factory. They hadn't met yet. That house had a 24 by 36 foot living room and we would push back the furniture and watch them fly to this music! I wish we had footage of them tearing up this music! When we got a better stereo system we payed this so loud on holidays you could hear it echo down and over several large interconnected lakes! It was pure magic!
