    Yes, especially in this internet age. One can easily create their own name/brand, you just need to create momentum and you'll eventually start a ripple.

      I feel like the key to momentum is view-worthy work, though. Not just volume for its own sake

    i know i sound like every person ever when i say i really want to be an actress. i practice lines and will act and invent crazy scenarios in my head and play them out. i really would like to pursue my dream career but i can’t because i’m 15 and haven’t told my parents because i know they won’t support me and will make fun of me for my dream. so no one knows yet i yearn for the chance

      Puppy Soccer|. First of all, don’t let them keep you from pursuing your dreams. Don’t let anything hold you back. And honestly they don’t have to take you serious rn but you show them that you are growing and getting better at it and that “you” are taking it serious then they will realize you have potential. I believe in you and I don’t even know you. (I’m 16)

    I worked in background and background casting.. the agency is in NYC and we did Law n Order, CSI, Disney, pilots, morning shows etc etc AND the networking is great and leads to more projects. The most important thing I learned is that if you call and show up every day, you WILL get hired BUT if u miss (or come late) to any set, you'll be fired (while it sounds extreme, no agency wants to vouch for actors who aren't reliable and hence make them look bad when much of the business runs on reputation and competition.
    Its now a decade later (needed time for health) and IDK WTF! It went from "your headshot is your resume" to producing reels, esablishing social media, etc and im terrible at tech and wish i knew who to look for and where to begin again.

    • @mikekillagreen9432
      @mikekillagreen9432 5 лет назад +1

      There is nothing wrong with background but an agent wants to see if you can handle lines, direction and do well in auditions. Extra work does not help that and no director is going to hire someone off of an extral role outside of giving them one line but to make a career of acting it takes auditions and sometimes trainingt show you can act. Anyone can be an extra and I mean anyone.

    The key is always in the most oblivious places. What are you watching right now? RUclips! Create and start a following! There's Instagram, tiktok. So much direct to consumer platforms where you can build a following. CCA this year signed multiple tiktok stars, I wonder why.

      Start doing anything and everything you can to build your experience. You can find an acting class, self-tape, get friends together and rehearse scenes, practice cold reads, etc.

      Yes and no. It truly depends on the agent/manager. I recommend that you take a great acting class so that you will be prepared if they ask you to.

      Look for casting agency's in facebook thats in your city. The ones in Atlanta post open projects all the time. Also if you ever heard of Central Casting go to there website, they are legit.

      Train, submit yourself for parts, audition for student films, work for free build a resume and reel and training then go for the agent. The agents are all listed and how to apply but get all the tools first including headshots and a good resume.

    You all inspire me Mrs Gal Gadot, Mrs Patty Jenkins and the Oscar Academy Awards to persevere and love myself unapologetically and unconditionally every single day and you all inspire me every day to become the first ever openly autistic Oscar Academy Award winner this April in 2021 in Beverly Hills Los Angeles California at Dolby Theater. You all saved my life through who you all are. I am proud to be who I am as a loving and empathetic human being without shame and compromise. I authored a article on the film Wonder Woman 1984 which I finished watching in full in my hometown of the last five straight years Jerusalem Israel last week on Thursday. I passed on my article to both Mrs Gal Gadot and Mrs Patty Jenkins. Mrs Gal Gadots main makeup artist Mrs Sarah Brock has two adult sons in their twenties who have my Autism and they live and lead empathetic, loving, compassionate, kindhearted, giving, joyous, brave, and courageous lives.

    WE ARE WONDROUS SUPERHEROES
    //
    How does the superhero fly when the superhero is needed most?
    //
    How does the superhero fly when the world needs heroes most?
    //
    My heart believes in the truth that every loving person has a soul.
    //
    My heart champions the message, everyone can be a light of hope.
    //
    Hope is what drives our human race to overcome limits and be heroic.
    //
    Hope is what pushes our human race to love and inspire who we love.
    //
    If you love who you are and what you do, you will make the world loving.
    //
    We are all superheroes when the world needs love and peacefulness most.
    //
    We are all superheroes when we look in the mirror and wake up every morning.
    //
    We are wondrous when we share love. When we love the world, we are heroic.
    Be persistent and never give up - Mrs. Gal Gadot.
