I've been following this stuff since JKR's tweet in Dec 2019, and it still feels surreal... listening to her being taken to court and putting gender over biological sex, is just so wild, surreal and plainly stupid.
I've heard this case discussed a couple of times before and pick up on new points each time I hear it repeated and amplified. I am very admiring of Sal Grover because this is a tough, tough case. I wish you well, lady, and feel that you will win in the high court. Bless your endurance. You are doing this for your daughter and daughters, mothers, wives etc the world over. You are a warrior.

If been following this trans so-called 'debate' for years now and I've heard a phrase in this talk I've been waiting to hear for almost a decade - 'out of patience'. Thank you, Brendan. Patience is a virtue when it comes to hearing the other side out, maybe there is some unknown or misunderstood factor involved, but patience can and frankly should run out. And that time has long since passed. I'm a social observer and I've noticed that there seem to be reoccurring concepts that surface roughly every decade and a half (once a generation) that for some reason never seem to get nailed down. One of these is the 'ends justify the means'. Why we have to debate that it's not okay to do shitty things when you think you are in the right, is beyond me. And yet every 15 years this stupid excuse rears it's ugly head and we find ourselves back at the beginning of time explaining that you don't just get to do shitty things because you think your cause is special. Well the same goes for the 'because I want to' non-argument. It didn't work as a justification to injure other people's health with smoking and it doesn't work with trampling women's rights with trans. It doesn't work with two-year-olds, even if modern parents think it does, and it's certainly should not be a tenet in law. As a matter of fact, 'feelings' need to be completely eliminating from law, both in crafting and enforcing law. Discretion in the hands of the legal system is always a must, but appeals to 'feelings' i.e. because you 'wanted to' has never been a legitimate rationale for dominantly abusive behavior. Feelings do have a place in law, and that's before a judge at sentencing. And of course juries are gonna have 'feelings' about a case, which is why we have twelve jurors such that the indulgent and irrational get checked, balanced, and mitigated. Do we accept, 'I just felt like clobbering' him as a justification? No, we don't. Feelings are supposed to be regulated, and so is the desire to exploit other people for the sake of fantasy. It's about time we all 'ran out of patience' and stopped tolerating this nonsense. The trans activists have been heard ad nauseam and society has rejected their 'because we want to' ploys for dominance. Enough already, enough.
It has been said that patience is a minor form of despair masquerading as a virtue. I stand by that.

Not only should there be 'women only' spaces, there should also be MEN ONLY spaces, clubs &c.
Why? Women want spaces so we don’t get assaulted/raped/sexually harassed by certain men. I don’t think you have that risk?

There were no human rights for me during COVID. I have a medical condition that means I am unable to have the vaccines and I had problems with mandates.
The "Human Rights" people were useless to me. My condition is now recognized by the TGA as warranting an exemption but it's too little too late. I've lost most "friends" and all my social groups who enjoyed the power trip of the Nazi regime.
What "human rights"? I couldn't appeal a decision that meant a risk to my life! The "Human Rights" commission is a joke!

The Human Rights Commission is funding his case - outrageous
I believe the funding is coming from the community . She has a go fund me page, I’ve donated. This is hugely important for all girls and women in today’s upside down society. Men claim to be women, ok but don’t come into biology womens areas. Trans have to find their own place. Strange that these men are not insisting that biological men change their spaces for theses men, they are men, not women, don’t buy into the lies and false claims. Women have fought for so many rights now it’s the trans communities time to fight for their rights without taking women’s spaces and rights. I’m not just referring to a talk show but toilets, changing rooms and sports. I think if the trans community had come together to fight for them to have their own spaces and sports then we wouldn’t have had all these nuts threatening women.

Maybe there just needs to be more precise categorisation; trans Mens , trans womens, male , female classifications for single sex spaces/sports etc?
Or one way to deal with it could be to make it a 'Womb only' club, for ppl of all sexes who have possessed a womb from birth.
In Australia it’s illegal to have any public “women only” event that excludes men who identify as women.
@@alexandragrace8164 But then we have an impasse ,because a 'biological' woman most certainly possesses a womb as is clear from all anatomical data as taught in biology, this is undeniable, and if we were to state that ALL sexes and genders who possess a womb are welcome then WE have not excluded anyone, they have excluded themselves or rather...as is the case ; nature has precluded them from actually being biologically and genetically female, but on paper we have not. This is supposed to illustrate how we should be switching the focus back onto what it means to be female genetically because this is the undeniable and verifiable ground on which truth may be used to fight the argument instead of cultural emotive strong-arm opinion. Whilst at the same time the argument can be that ; it is not actually about gender or women but merely about wombs. There was an article in the independent a few weeks ago how male only clubs should not be allowed but that there was a need for female only clubs. I’ve never belonged to a male only club or even clubs for that matter but that’s feminism and I’m now supposed to support female spaces!

The men’s only clubs were a problem back in the day because it shut career women out of the ‘old boys network’ of high level decision making.
That is hardly an issue now with LinkedIn etc .

I'm all for women-only spaces. But name one space that men can have all to themselves without feeling guilty.
Changing rooms, locker rooms, saunas etc etc, Those are the type of spaces we're talking about, not conference rooms or golf clubs.
