Dang, I can actually smell that transfer case. All those old parts have a distinctive stench to them. We call all that old oil and dirt scabs, they build up and eventually scab up the leaks like a wound that healed, LOL.
@YoshimoshiGarage i actually have on a 1971 PowerWagon. And it wasn't easy, Putting them back was even worse. But those are the best transfer cases ever built. They were used in military tanks.
@@YoshimoshiGarage That's weird, I literally went under my truck after watching your video because I thought to myself, "I don't remember it being that hard?" In fact, they're very easy to get to.

Side note, beef that 205 cross member up, they are known to break when off-roading hard in 4 low;)
What vehicle did you have that on? I have a 73 power wagon and bolts are easily accessible without taking the crossmember off.
It's a 74 power wagon.

Surprisingly just like gear oil. It looked a little funky, but the inside was super clean.
