This weeks I had the pleasure of driving a very popular Stage 2 E92 335i! This was one seriously fast motor!
This car has the looks and definitely the power to trouble most modern performance cars!
I hope you enjoy the content and see you on the next one :-)

When I first bought my n54.
1st thing I replaced is oem Turbos
1400$ oem Mitsubishi turbos
800$ lines,seals etc
2100$ install
Another 2000$ on random parts after that.
Then I decided that was enough sending the car to bmw specialist. Started doing all my own work , mods & maintenance.
Never been happier with any other car.
If you buy a 335i n54. Know you’ll spend double what you paid fairly soon. But after that keep up with maintenance. And your gapping most cars on street.
That’s simply not true if you can work on the car yourself.
@@mogulme6190 I’m speaking from experience. Idk if you talking about any bmw or n54 specifically.
N54 have 7 main failure points. There’s more but these the ones that’ll leave you stranded.
Hpfp
Injectors
Ignition coils
Wastegate rattle I.e. turbos
Water pump / thermostat
Valve cover & gasket
Serpentine belt & pulleys .
Replace those things and your lookin at few grand. In parts alone if your buying bmw parts. You could save on some items. But point is it gets pricey real fast.
That’s doing your own work.
They can be a money pit if you end up with the wrong one but once they are running fine they are a proper rapid machine.
DIY really does save a lot of money so fair play to you 🔥👍
@@BimmerMafia Done all that and much more, cant wait i get it back next week. Engine was taken out and i changes all that i could, racing coils, downpipes , allu water pump, intercooler, upgraded oil cooler, all vargas hoses and stock turbos, oil pan gasket, valve gasket, FULL bolt ons. even a new water res, engine mounts, gearbox mounts, waste gate rattle fix from vargas , allu radiator and so much more, al on a 2008 135i convertible in white.
@@stavrosgreen4143hi mate, how much dis it cost to fix the wastgate rattle, i am getting engine malfuction in higher revs
my e90 n54 is single turbo converted and pushing 650whp or 740bhp approx which is the max you can run really on the stock internals. Some people run up to 750whp but how long it lasts is another story. its an absolute animal of a car at 650whp blows the tyres off at WOT in 4th gear even. Im building the engine soon and then aiming for 850whp.
Wow I can imagine it will be a serious weapon at that power. Running anything at over the recommended figures is a ticking time bomb!
Where abouts are you based?
@@PerformanceLifestyles I'm in Australia sorry or else I would let you do a review of my car.
@@nathanleslie1531 thats a fair trek 🤣
Thanks mate 👍
Ever had problems?
It feels quicker than M3s/M4s because it has insane amount of torque. It's around 600-650 at Stage 2 420BHP tune. It pulls like a rocket.
Yeah definitely massive torque figures 👌
🔥🔥🔥
Now I’ll have to keep mine😁
Same bro i have mines 3 years now daily drive
Getting Chris Harris vibes, excellent review! You just got a new subscriber!
Thanks mate 👍 Appreciate the kind words. Trying my best 👌
Same here +1 sub
@@turkishcarsquad Thanks 😊 👍
Nice video man . . I have a 335is with DCT with proper paddles .
The car is amazing .
Thanks for the kind words 👍
The DCT must make these feel even better 🔥 Epic cars!
just picked one up this week 2010 150k kms beautiful condition. im obsessed.

Nice job man ! Best of luck 💪🏼love it
Another fantastic review! First hand can say this was a sleeper, faster than a lot of more modern and also “proper” M cars out there!
Bang for back not much offers as much as a good stage 2 335i.
Thanks for the kind words bro and for allowing me to review your car 👍
It definitely did surprise me as to how quick it is. Definitely will keep up with modern M cars, and beat some M cars from its era.
Beauty 👌
Love the 335i but am slightly biased as have one in a similar state of tune, also live in the area so will keep my eyes peeled out and about😁
@@msbeardmore honestly very good and capable cars 🚗 👌
What colour is yours? I'll keep my eyes peeled 👍
@@PerformanceLifestyles mines also black like the one featured, with anthracite wheels, and a few other bits you know carbon grills, bms exhaust tips in black, front windows tinted to match the factory rears, similar mods, but in the workshop currently having an lsd upgrade
@@msbeardmore just seen yours on Facebook, looks smart 👌
LSD, now that'll be a game changer! These cars are definitely underrated and would absolutely destroy most cars. Tuning potential is crazy too 🔥
First time watching after being related to this video and have to say very professional and great review mate. In 2 minds wether to buy one of these
Appreciate the kind words 👍
I hope this video swayed you towards getting one, amazing cars especially once looked after 👌
@@PerformanceLifestyles I really would love one. If I’m being honest I’ve never driven a RWD before 😅 I would like to pop my cherry but would this be destroying it with a car like this?
@liamresinpat as long as you can control your right foot I'd say its a decent 1st RWD car. They have traction control so let's you have a play without the imminent threat of losing it 😁
you can mod the steering shifters to be just like the Mcar, its just a wire swap inside the steering wheel.
That would perfect this car. Loved everything apart from the shifters!
How? Pls explain
@@JusTCheap15 there's guides on youtube.

I have this motor in a manual and I'm never getting rid of it. It's quicker that a golf R and can stick with cars they have no right to.
Definitely a underrated car, very fast when tuned 👌🔥
@@PerformanceLifestyles I did nothing more than a cheap S1 remap to mine. Its 340 bhp and 500nm and hit 60 in a smudge under 4.5 on a sunny day. They are getting on now so do need some love but if you look after them they're a nice driver car to own that give that yesterday's driving vibe. They will go off the clock, it has all the toys including a 13 channel surround sound audio system that is very very good, and despite a bit of a rep mines been pretty reliable. I think a lot of the complaints on reliability are from poorly maintained cars. The nice thing these days though is they're a bit of a sleeper now.
@@moonfly1 TBF a stage 1 remap is all they need and its quite a inexpensive mod that makes a massive difference.
Reliability i agree is a issue with poorly maintained cars, a lot of these did end up in the wrong hands and the new owners ultimately paid the price in some occasions.
I will have a N55 car on the channel soon 😀
👌👍
My car is an 07 so needs a bit of love now. The clutch is tired and probably the flywheel too at 155k on the clock, but when I get it sorted I might see if you want to play with a manual and see what you think.
@@moonfly1 if the clutch and flywheel have lasted 155k it must have been well looked after.
Yeah I'd love to have it on the channel, drop us a email when you get it sorted 👍
its not too hard to re-wire the paddles so they are M3 style
That would perfect the driving experience 🔥
Injectors are USD $3514.08 before labour
They use to be 1700 back in the day… most cars on the road have index 12s
@@PHFilms3 no, most of them are clapped af lol
@@ahw5hcgfyj I’m not looking so maybe you’re right,.. but I think any good working and well taken care of 335i has it done by now
@@PHFilms3 they only need to be replaced when they leak. but index 12 also leak lol
335 is comes with the paddle shifters like the M car.
Only the later cars came with them. The earlier ZF comes up / down on both sides (push / pull).
I believe he’s taking about the N55 cars they come with the regular paddle shifters
@@N54- yeah true. The N55 cars did have the usual style shifters. Should have one on the channel soon 😀
what year is it?
2009 58 I believe.
335 King of the streets! HEre's why I chose it: ruclips.net/video/ZRhA7_fMSjk/видео.html
Next video: I sold my M4 and bought a 335i 😅😅
🤣 went from M4 to M2C 😁
@@PerformanceLifestyles 🥰🥰

Epic car 🚗 🔥
I have 335i 2010 m power and the paddles work the same so u aint Got your facts straight
What I meant by MPower is a M2/M3/M4 etc and they work exactly as I've said in the video.
@@PerformanceLifestyles sorry my fault thought u meant the new 335i e92
@@scooterdk3492 no problem 😊
