This was 4th video that i watch about changing cabin filter to mondeo mk4. And first one Where the steering wheel is on the left side 🙂. Like my car. (I allredy removed clovebox for nothing 😉)
Same thing for me. Dismounted glovebox. Glovebix lid dampening hinge broke off (probably was going to break eventually anyway). Looked for the filter housing for like 10 minutes straight, twisting my head in unimaginable ways, eyeballing every side & corner for it. Took me an hour until I found this video. Still have to fix the hinge and put everything back together now. Just a tip: gas pedal nut is 10mm, filter housing is 7. I'm actually impressed for how hard Ford has made it for such a simple job. You have to be a gymnast for this simple task and even then it's hard to do everything correctly. I remember changing it in a Honda: You just pull the glovebox out with 2 hands, pull out filter housing, swap the filter, put everything back together in reverse order. 2 minutes. Not a single tool needed.
Very informative video thank you from Romania. Before to put the new filter we may use a cleaning A/C spray to kill the bacteries in the evaporator which is near the filter
V šechny auta vyrobené nad rok 2000 nahoru jsou křápy, šrot auta starší filtr byl vyměněný za 15 vteřin teď jen pravdu kolik času tě to ztálo vyměnit filtr hodně to vím.
I removed the 3rd screw. I had to slide in on my back to reach it and only a specific toolset fits there, the screw is M13 btw not M10 like the 2 lower ones. This was a real pain. But the pedal won't budge. Took my lamp and discovered there's a 4th screw above!!! Of course, with even more limited space around it. I think the engineers that came up with this solution for a cabin filter need to burn in hell for eternity.
Thank you. You have a new subscriber from Spain.
I hace a Ford Mondeo mk4 too and I'm glad with my car, I think it's a great car.
Nice one. I have learnt something 👍

Bună ideea cu aspiratorul 👍
I hate changing air filer in my MK4 mondeo ..but once per year it is not a problem
You should install one of those after market Android radio units. It is a great upgrade for the Ford mondeo MK4. I upgraded my one for £90 of ebay.
Coming very soon!
That 3rd layer is worthless unless you live 24/7 in the car and keep the doors/windows hermetically shut.
Thank you
God damn shop had put filter wrong way aroud last time.
Gotta do most thigs my self it seems.

didn't help, I have mk4, location filter its not there in my ford
In UK it's on the passenger side. Much more work to do
the location is really not convenient
