After thirty calls and thirty minutes, the dispatch lady finally picked up and realized they forgot to test. Needless to say, I was satisfied, mainly because I thought I wasted the most expensive gas I've ever burned on a failed test. I recorded this from about eight-hundred feet a way and the ambiance from nearby units were beautiful and almost comforting. The siren itself was very mellow, the flugelhorn of T-128s if you will.
The city of Rockwall, TX tests their sirens on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 2:00pm.
