Something I noticed is that when it is doing attack, when it goes down, it spins just a little bit faster.
Well done Jack. Great video! AC power was on. 208vac.
I'm wondering if these have a tap for 208. Typically AC/DC sirens have taps for different voltages: 208, 220, 240, 480, etc. If the rectifier has a 208VAC tap switching it to that one would speed it up a little. It sounds kind of sluggish and might actually lose some of its performance at this speed.
It does, and 208 was selected. Interestingly, it sounds the same pitch as the T128's. That wail pitch sounds normal to me on these ASC units. The old P50 that was in its place, previously, seemed to be a little louder. Thanks for the reply.
WHOA! THAT SOUNDS SICK!
No sir. Not sick, that’s what they all sound like.

just to say that is a ASC T-128.
They look almost the same, but one's bigger. Google the two side by side and you'll see. This is a T-135
@@NTXstorms thx.
also, the coverage and appearance?
Why is the P-50 called a T135 but this "T128" is called a T135?
This is the new model that’s just a bigger and louder T-128 and can operate on AC or DC power. The old “P50” version was AC only and ran on 50 horsepower.
1:04 1:08
Was AC power not yet hooked up for this test?
It's connected to power.
Loh.
