And I am looking like a twin sister of Her Majesty Empress Elisabeth Amalie Eugenie from Austria Queen of Hungary and I also share all of her own health problems, her anxiety of stairs, her kindness like her last lady of honors had written down in her memoirs with the Empress in her last few years of her own life, her senses of humor - simply all and everything and also her own body shape! This is so tremendously astonishing and fascinating to know and to see her in the image in the mirror if I am looking into a mirror! To know how she was looking like is so gorgeous for me to see it everydays and I keep it as a treasure and a wonderful gift deeply in my heart and soul and I will keep her memories with me deeply embedded in my heart and soul and mind! I think that during her life time there were so many myths produced to the purpose to protect her own identity if she was travelling around - even her very slim waist and her stubbornness and her eccentric and egoistic behavior was created as a wall of protection around her that she could travel around without the publicity and even some paparazzi with their in this time newly invented photo cameras! Even the creation of her incognito of the name Duchess from Hohenembs was simply to protect her! And she for herself had worn very nice but simply styled clothing and gowns like any of the other women during this time and these clothes and the styles of them was her own favorite style she preferd to wear - simple enough but pretty and the skirt not too long because of her own kind of walking! She was a good and lovely person and a good soul so her last lady of honor had written down in her book and all the other false thoughts and false fake stories about her are only stupid and ignorant fairytales mostly written down from very jealous people mostly women who can not deal with the fact that they aren't so famous and loved like the Empress herself and most of the things which is written down today from people who were born far far away from her time are only writing down a totally fake history without brains and heart to do it with the reality in mind - simply fake history and nothing else but this! That's my own opinion about it all! That's it! Period, end of story! And this is something to think about! 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

I love that Luigi Lucheni signed his letter as “anarchist, and one of the most dangerous” yet his only accomplishment was murdering a defenseless woman in broad daylight. What a creep.

I have had the portrait (at 8:40) for almost 40 years. I have always wondered who this beautiful woman is! Somewhere along the way I learned that she had many sisters and she was an Austrian princess. I didn't know where else to research because all I had was this portrait. Until yesterday, all of a sudden, the story of Empress Elisabeth "Sissi" was in my facebook feed! And to find out there are movies and RUclips videos, Instagram pages...Incredible! So interesting! Finally I know her name!

I know she didn't like her children much but after the death of her son I would have thought she would spend as much time as she could with her surviving daughters. She was extremely beautiful but her routines were too much. She reminds me of my friend who had an eating disorder she would exercise every single day, one day she would not eat anything and complain about fat and calories and the next day she would eat lots of junkfood. It turned out she was bulimic. When we found out it all clicked into place and we helped her as much as we could. I wonder if this disorder was happening as much then and known about as much as it is now. Anyway thanks for another fab video I like this better than the first because your voice is so soothing.

Frank Joseph was infatuated. Absolutely! How can you know your future spouse in five days? Poor Sisi had to deal with the Mother-In-Law from Hell and a demanding, imperious husband who refused to take “No” for an answer. She didn’t stand a chance to have a quasi normal life! I pity her greatly.😢

In this matter here, I have asked a surgeon if Her Majesty Empress Elisabeth Amalie Eugenie from Austria Queen of Hungary had any chance to survive this attack against her today and with a modern hospital nearby and he said that even with the best and modern hospitals in the region of the attack she would not have the chance to survive because the injurie was too severe and the blood loss was too much to survive. She would have been dead at the arrival at the hospital even if the EMT would have driven like a devil! So she hadn't the chance to survive it even today with our modern medicine and surgical methods! I hope I could help you with this information about your question about it!

The poor girl! Forced to marry at such a young age to not only someone she had no affection for but her cousin (given the royal status & the era it wasnt uncommon for these types of marriages, & because of the era & the geographical distance between the two countries its not like they would have had a familial bond as cousins of today would have..thwyd have been virtual strangers to each other)
Seems as tho the only control that she had of her own life was her looks, her weight & her attire..contributing to her seeming to be a bit vain. Intimate relations between her her husband were probably forced..good possibilty that it was violent.. that combined with the forced marroage & her not having any liking for her husband would undoubtedly turn her off of ANY physical contact with him or any other man for that matter! Her mother inlaws control & her husband being a big ole Mamas boy allowing hwr m.i.l to all but straight up steal her babies fresh from the womb & refusal ro allow Sisi contact would hinder the natural mother/infant bonding that occurs after childbirth during the care of the infant. Sisi would have longed for her new baby as any mother would but wouldnt have had the chance to form that loving bond causing emotional unattachment to her babies (btw that m.i.l WOW what a cu..!)
Knowing that failing to provide the king his heir would render her 'just anorher piece of property & dispensable' would cause a great deal of worry regarding her future so finally giving birth to an heir would have eased her worries.
That final child & being able to raise it herself, promising that dinal daughter that she coyld marry whomever she wished essentially being able to marry for love instead of a political/financial marriage has got to be the most beautiful gift she could have bestowed her daughter. Allowing hwr daughter something of which wasnt even an option for herself plunging her into a marriage of pilitical & financial convenience, mustve made her feel 'freed'.. knowing ahe alloted hwe daughtwr the happiness she was denied.
Qhat a tragic end for a beautiful woman that lived such a sadden life
