Fun fact: The odd names of ingredients in cauldron spells is meant to obfuscate the real ingredients. It's a code for an actual recipe. This was done among pharmacists and doctors in the middle ages as well.
Attention, perhaps, but not necessarily understanding. Besides which, people literate at that time were likely few and far between enough that if someone was reading your notes, they were most likely already interested, so a simple code or cipher like euphemisms for ingredients might be an effective way of keeping recipes to oneself.
Well that explains why I'm having so much trouble finding fairy wings and unicorn tears for my cauldron. Interestingly, though, Pegasus feathers were easy to obtain.
@@sadies8100 So unicorns are less empathetic than we've been led to believe and fairies are too selfish to give us their wings? Can't they grow some more? I'm somewhat disappointed to learn these facts.
I am glad that there are people who make vids like this. Music with the lyrics on screen, it makes it so much easier to sing along to songs that I love.
I love how Paganism brings people together from all over the world. My current pagan playlist consists of American, Australian, British, and now Dutch. Thank you so much for uploading this.
i didn't know they were dutchies. but that is 1 bad ass song. I've been searching for celtic irish music and have found a lot bad ass songs, i'm glad I stumbled onto this band

No problem. I listen to Inkubuss Succubus (not how it's spelled but I can never get it right :P) when I'm feeling dark, they have a very heavy rock feel. Spiral Dance is very mystical and they don't just stick to wiccan/pagan themes, delving into fantasy and myth as well, Blackmores Night are almost the same as Spiral Dance but still awesome (my fave from them is 'World of Stone') and great to dance to most times. That's all I can think of for now. Love and light!
Its difficult ; I'm old: my whole live I was an earth dance fighter: difficult, but I had a very good live. Thanks to Omnia. 👌💖😈 I like them too much. Carinthians are like this: they swim in trinkwater, the country is green, they live in freedom. And do U now what they do. They say: this is no good, that coul be better.... Die Dummheit wird mehr
in and give me peace and no fear of the unknown. I wish this was around when I was in my teens. I use to be afraid of death now I embrace the coming of my time whenever that comes
This song came on shuffle while I was in the pharmacy waiting for two more meds, my bed rest being extended through Jan 5th. If only I could find the apothecary recipes from my voodoo priest and priestess ancestors, then I could have a witches brew and get better.
this song helped me with my Shakespeare project in English Lit.. overall Macbeth was super boring.. but this brightened it up for me and helped with my overall conclusion, thank the God and Goddess for Omnia.
I really feel stupid.... I have had 7 years of English at school, I talk English to my girlfriend because we have different nationalities... I understand absolutely everything when I watch the news or when I read an English newspaper, but when I listen to this song, I have the feeling that I only know 50% of the vocabulary :/

This is crazy addictive! it feels like so much energy, like it's magic
Well, it is a witches brew.
Bruno In magic, any rhyme or can be considered a spell or enchantment. This one particularly is famous because of Shakespeare.
Music is just the mainstream version of magic

One of the best Omnia song. I love it.
Whenever they mention the dancing dead, I always imagine three witches throwing a CD of 'Dead Can Dance' into the cauldron.
You made my day, pal! I'm laughing my ass off!

Round about the cauldron go,
in the poisoned entrails throw
Skin of toad and spike of bone,
sharpened on an eagle stone
Serpent's egg and dancing dead,
effigy of beaten lead
Double double trouble you,
bubble in a witches' brew
Fillet of a fairy snake,
In the cauldron boil and bake
Eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog
Lizard leg and fairy wing,
round about the cauldron sing
Double double trouble you,
bubble in a witches' brew
Root of mandrake dug at night,
when the moon is full and bright
Slip of yew and twig of fern,
make the fire dance and burn
For our will it will be done,
when the hurlyburly's done
Double double trouble you,
bubble in a witches' brew
Double double toil and trouble
Fire burn and cauldron bubble
Double double trouble you
Bubble in a witches' brew
Double double toil and trouble
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble
Double double trouble you
Bubble in a witches' brew
Round about the cauldron go,

I feel like this is based off the Shakespearean play of Macbeth. A similar thing is done in Harry Potter.
We're singing that song in my choir!
It's actually based off of the 3 witches from hamlet-some of the lyrics are exactly the same. So I doubt it's a commentary on modern witches lol. :)

where did you get your background? it's so pretty
Yes, indeed ^^

YES!
Lmao my dad recommended me this 💅😤 slay ✨queen✨
1 question on your lyrics... is it bubble in a wytches brew, or bubbling a wytches brew? just wondering i always thought it was the second
I believe the trouble bubbles in a wytches brew.

Prolly wouldn't taste that good. t least not the literals. But then again, idk what eye of newt tastes like

It makes me laugh when mundanes think the names of the ingredients are literal! For instance, "5 fingers" or "5 fingered grass" is really cinquefoil.
