Nice video as usual! Would you consider doing a video of the different playstyles/ strategies (offensive, 4-corners, box, etc.) since you often use these terms, but they might not be immediately evident for everyone watching! I admit I have some trouble discerning between them sometimes, not knowing what to look for, etc.
As we delve into the recent final match on last Sunday at the Jyske Bank Arena in Odense, Denmark, a couple of psychological dynamics merit attention. First, it's noteworthy that the youtube footage often omits the time Anders Antonsen spends between rallies. During these intervals, he engages in discussions with his coaches and manages the court conditions, which could disrupt the flow of play for Koki. Additionally, the atmosphere in the arena played a crucial role. The crowd, enthusiastic and supportive, rallied behind Antonsen throughout the match. This consistent home support undoubtedly created a palpable advantage, amplifying the pressure on Koki. The psychological impact of competing against a local favorite can be significant, influencing Koki's focus and performance as he navigated the high-energy environment of Odense.
Tottaly desagree about the height. Tall players are dominating the man's single discipline! In the second game of this game Antonsen played upward to downward and dominated the mid an the front court. He has pushed a lot his opponent to the back court, creatiting a lot of uncovered court. Kobi (166 cm!) was moved around the court unable to have the initiative, unable to have a strong game plan.
Mid size players (170 to 180cm including LD LCW TH PG KM) are the best, then tall ones (180 to 195, CL and VA) , below 170cm no Precedence of making any great players, super tall players (above 200m) don’t have a shred of hope, their knee will not last.
@@hentiboi604 Yeah but I mean, Momota has the ideal height for a badminton player (175cm) if I wasn't mistaken. Koki is as "tall" as his compatriot, Nami Matsuyama. Height matters in men's singles because I've never seen short players conquered this category before. Even LCW measures in at about 172cm.
I'm talking about today's badminton, when the athletic abilities are pushed to the limit. Of course there are exceptions. But in those cases is something else that make the difference. Like tactical skills and accuracy.
i am struggling against an opponent who likes to play fast clears, controlling my back line. If i try to slow the pace by a dropshot he will just crosscourt, forcing me running around a lot. Not to mention he has better smash. I suppose its my inefficient footwork and poor shot quality. How would i play against this player
Need that Zheng si Wei vid
Wow back to back content with the best quality. Keep it up man, soon enough you will be the best badminton channel ever.

can you explain all of the styles in badminton? which style should we use against different players? thanks
but if you were Watanabe in this situation, how would you play against it? Is there really no counterplay?
Can you make video about serving and return of serving tactic in double 👍
Bro make a video about Lin Dan's footwork
Antonsen was ready for the survice this time. That's the key point
Why do you know so much about badminton?😊
Antonsen strength is the masking of his shots. He's impossible to read for his opponents.
Really interesting and good quality analysis, but I wish you would not use the AI generated voice.

I recommend you to watch Momota vs Axelsen matches. They are the prime example of how to beat tall height players.

@@ciprianfilimon2217 Not many people believe today’s badminton is the peak though. Peak was between Lin and Lee maybe Chen still.
Is this your real voice?
it's not, it's AI generated
Maya :) !
Excellent videos! I'd love more stuff about Momota. I just don't get why people had so much trouble against him.

Is this AI narration or a real person?
AI for sure
Antonsen is the most deceptive badminton player I've ever seen.
Also (although not a strategy), VA getting sick
