    Lakshya was full of energy and tactics in the last set. Deserved the win. Antonsen tried to get away with net points but great umpiring

      He always throw away the set in which he is in the disadvantage side. I get lin dan vibes from his game sometimes but he is too lazy in the game sometimes.

    Bro what is this title 😂

    • @badmintonalley34
      @badmintonalley34  Месяц назад +1

      The original idiom is 'a tough/hard row to hoe' which means a difficult situation to deal with.
      I chose dramatic instead of tough/hard as it's more related to the match situation.
      As a man of culture, please focus on the whole phrase as an idiom instead of the you-know-what slang 😂

    I did see your explanation about the idiom but generally speaking the thumbnal seem a bit harsh, it feels like one of players is being called a hoe, lets not insult any player brother 😊
    We get matches only when we have a strong players on both ends, lets respect them both ❤

    • @badmintonalley34
      @badmintonalley34  Месяц назад +1

      Antonsen, whether his arguments were right or wrong, struggled to keep his cool under the impression that the umpire was being unfair to him.
      Sen had to put his back to keep up with Antonsen's domination ever since the second game.
      There's no insult in the idiom since it's reflected both players circumstances. The picture itself is the best angle out of their clash throughout the match.
      Thanks for your opinion ❤

    Dodgy umpire. If his racket touched the net, you could easily is the ripples on the net but wasn’t the case and even in slow motion, it didn’t touch the net. Second instance, the shuttle was over to his court side when he hit the shuttle, after that if his body touched the net, it does not matter, another bad judgement. Clearly it affected his game play after that and ultimately cost him the game.

      Well, Antonsen’s 2nd fault was a legit one.
      According to the BWF Statutes, Section 4.1: Law of Badminton.
      13.4.1. It shall be a ‘fault’ if in play, a player touches the net or its supports with racket, person or dress.
      and
      15.2. A shuttle is not in play when it hits the surface of the court.
      In other words, the rally is over once the shuttle hits the floor or the opponent’s body. So, the player shouldn’t touch the net while the shuttle is still in the air, like Antonsen did in 14:32.
      It’s a different story when the shuttle landed on the floor first like in 3:27. The umpire didn’t count this as a fault.

      @@kevinclasher3160 You cant really see the net very well in video for the first foul while the umpire was quite literally a metre from it. I'd trust his judgement over an aggressive player who shouts at every decision.

      I think you need to know about the rules properly before commenting here..the net should not be touched while the game is on..
