- As requested, this is a "how-to" instructional on reshaping leather shoes. This process can actually be done on purses, handbags or any article of leather using common house hold materials.

My brothers and I grew up working in the Men's shoe dept at Barney's. For many years after, the first thing I'd look at when I met a man was his shoes. You can learn a lot about someone by looking at their shoes.

urad shoe cream fills in and dyes the scratches , don't cost much .sometimes you take very fine sand paper to git rid of a lot of the problem too. you do good work!! i'm a nut about my shoes

Can v use a hair dryer instead of the iron?
You can but the iron will produce more steam and you will need the direct heat to help reshape the leather. Unfortunately, the hair dryer does not get as hot.

Can I apply this process to suede trainers to fix the deformations? If not what would be the way to stretch them back to normal ? Help please 🙏🙏
Hi! The answer is "Yes" and "No." Yes to the heat. No to the steam. You would have to use a heat gun or a hair dryer (preferably a heat gun). Where are the deformities? Inside or out?
@@micmaliss the deformation are on the top front of the trainers ,where your toes are .I bought them online and when received I noticed overwhelming flowery smell ,the seller washed them in washing machine and I think that's the source of deformation 😬
@grrrrr5555 You want to use a heat gun or a blow dryer to reshape them. Try to keep the heat on the inside of the shoe to reshape it. Press outward. Then, when it begins to cool down, it shapes the outside. Do not ise the heat too often on the outside.

What is a shoe horse??? You want to get those creases out of those shoes? Use shoe trees.
Shoe trees do not take care of the sides of the shoe. This is why I recommended the method I did. But, whatever suits you.
