I would recommend for the towel to use one the same colour as the shoe example if it’s white use a white towel just because sometimes the dye might transfer to the shoe
Fun Fact: you can use this same technique to remove dents from wood, like desks or even gunstocks. It wont repair cuts but with dents the heat forces the steam down into the fibers and makes them go back to normal ie straight. Same concept with the fibers inside leather. Pretty amazing.
I've been doing this for years on my sneakers and I've been able to transform sneakers from like totally creased to like absolutely looking like amazing and it's actually made me a lot of money doing it that way but yeah exactly how you do it is exactly the best way to do it...alot of people don't realize how easy it is to get creases out of leather just I wouldn't suggest doing it on suede
I took my Jordan 6’s and put a damp cloth in side, then put a damp cloth in the microwave for 20 seconds and finally laid it down on the toe box and let it sit for about 15 seconds then it was pretty much good as new!
This is the best video ever, I got a very rare pare of shoes that would normally cost 2000 dollars but I got them for around 750 because of the creases and this actually worked, thank you 🙏
Another good way to get creases out of Yeezy slides… put them in the bin, they look horrible, I mean adidas even gave Kanye the rights for the slides back to him, the company that made the shoes didn’t even want them
I’m with you man. 1’s in particular look so much better after you wear them. The older pairs especially form to your foot and bring out the grain in the leather.
I would say another round or two of whitening, they look a lot better but there’s still noticeable discoloration and you could work on the creases a little bit
Nice, didnt know this good for an immediate effect and also you can use shoe guards(?) to prevent creasing when using and the staitionary kind to slowly revert it ( dont much about shoes tho cant take my word for it, worked for me though) Note: The shoe guard might feel different and might hurt but you gotta do what you gotta do
It's kinda of inevitable unless you use one of those toe protectors, and even that is questionable. Nonetheless, I think doing this is good for a night out or a date My truly honest take is just to let your sneakers crease, give them some personality
@@Panfoulexactly!!!! or maybe because some people want to actually take care of their shoes for as long as possibl some people just like keeping their stuff clean not everything is about resell
On top of this I'd highly recommend using cedar shoe trees to maintain the shape while not being worn. After a long day of wear the cedar tree will absorb the moisture out of the leather allowing it to dry to the form of the tree. It also keeps the bacteria buildup at a minimum keeping thos babies smelling fresh
Giving this is such a big problem and there's such a huge community you think Jordan would have made anti creese tech by now? I'm sure there are ways to mechanically incorporate things to forever remove creasing as a possibility
Moderate speed, circular motions, light pressure and low heat. Done this so many times but my first few times I removed the tumble from the leather off a couple shoes 😅 Edit: ALSO DO NOT USE THE STEAM BUTTON
Fold a grocery bag and put it inside the shoe toe box, before u put it on. Put the shoe on creases gon. Early 2000s method, when we use to stand in line for AF1s.

Correct, any time you doing this you wanna use the same color towel as the shoe worse case you can’t just do short sessions on this process

I mean, hey.. The yeezy boost has a pretty comfortable insole, and jordan 3s aren’t the most comfortable shoes out there, so i don’t blame him.

Can you do a tutorial of how to crease them

On the Jordan 1 I personally like a few creases
i'm not a fan of that but i can see why people would like that, it adds character

My dad always told me to use those things u have to take out of inside the shoes to stop them from creasing 😂 some reason it kinda works 😅
Shoe trees👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Whaaaa that’s crazy! Subscribed
They crease badly over casual wear because the PU coating over the thin leather is thick. You can iron them out but it'll just crease the same again.

Wouldve been nice to let us know which setting on the iron you put it at
Agreed
even though nike sneakers get scuffed easily i still love em
You can also bundle a pair of socks, dampen them with 91%alchol,stuff them in the toe box and leave them for 24 hours, no iron needed.
Add coconut oil in the cloth and then iron ...and the leather will get more stiff for long-term
Where did you get this info from?
They’re just gonna crease again on the first wear 😂

The lowest heat setting in order to not harm the shoe.
The hottest heat setting in order to quickly and effectively remove the creases in a fast manner while not harming the shoe.
