What I have noticed towards achieving greater heights in my own personal endeavors is that it is hard to start a new journey, but it is incredibly difficult to stay committed towards maintaining balance on that same path. For instance, your goal is to pass a certification and you continue to allocate time everyday towards studying; however, 95% of that allocated time is full of distractions and nothing is truly gained. By the time your original plan of taking that exam comes, you have to push it off to a future date because the realization hits that you're not ready for it. We must learn to be consciously aware of what the results of our current mindset will bring us and where we need to improve. This visualization ideology will continuously not only remind you what hardships you must endure, but the end goal, as well. Train your levels of dopamine, eat healthy, and find that balance. Obtaining balance is the most difficult part of it all because without that, one side will surely crumble or negatively inpact the other half by not being fulfilled in some sense. For example, many will chase a professional career, while having a family. During their determination to succeed in achieving this challenging career, they will lose site or lower the priority of their family. This inequality in your life will create more problems, and thus taking longer to achieve your goals in the end. Unless you're a sociopath of sorts that is unphased by the unhappiness of your family or something relative, of course. Conclusively, attempt to find balance because that is the root of life itself.
Things like this work. No matter what kind of visual aids you use, self motivation and the discipline to put the work in no matter what even on the days you just don't feel like it is the key. I used methods like this before the internet to motivate me to pass dive school in the early 90's. Another thing- some of the best and most productive sessions I have had at the dojo were on days I just didn't feel like going and forced myself to.
Another great video referencing things I've done on the past that I do believe have worked. Just like you my morning routine would start with my affirmations. At night affirmations. It took about a year and half but the wait was worth with it and I found pretty much the exact truck I was looking for. Better yet I even bought it from a veteran too. I do believe what you tell works. My problem is when something happens to distract my life I fall off the routine(s). I appreciate this video as now it has help remind me.
Would it be a good idea to join the military in today present I know it’s a dumb question it’s cool if you don’t reply but I just wanna hear your answer or opinion
Super loaded haha, ultimately there is still not anything else like it so if you feel a strong desire to join to do a job, then do it. But if you're only joining for the benefits, college, or cause you don't think you have any other options, then I'd recommend against it.
