To The Hellfire - 75th Ranger Regiment Edit
Просмотров 3,2 тыс.6 месяцев назад
Have wanted to make this edit for a long time, cool Ranger edits were half the reason I joined in the first place. Footage is shown in roughly chronological order starting out with a vintage 90's recruiting video, 9/11, Objective Rhino, the surge in Iraq, Team Merrill deployments to Afghanistan, and then more recent training footage. Enjoy. Song is "To The Hellfire" by Lorna Shore My Instagram:...

Sounds exactly like my childhood except I was doing it by myself with a mop handle and air soft guns lol and no actual training
“I will never get on my knees for anyone.”
Is there somewhere to find these PowerPoints?
Started at 309lbs Currently 220 want to be 205 before I talk to my recruiter soon enough I’ll be in the regiment
🔥🔥🔥💯🇱🇷
What? I just went. No pre-ranger, no train up. I recycled desert phase but got tabbed. I seriously don't get this. Cco 509th Pathfinders, HHC and Bco 1/75, and LRSD 101st.
Bro got out of Ranger Batt to kill viewers of youtube with death by power point!
@@davidhenry7484 😂😂😂
@@davidhenry7484 don’t have a full weapons squad with three 240s anymore to run live demos unfortunately 😂
Great video, would be cool to see you make a gear video that is oriented more towards sustained combat or "infantry-centric" stuff. I can't imagine stepping off to go anywhere without at least 12-13 mags on me with an extra six in the bandolier in the assault pack. I'm heavy, but I'm ready.
Cant find his videos anywhere now

I remember when the first back in 1974 when the first ranger units were formed the first and second ranger battalions when was the fort Stewart Georgia Georgia and then the other one was that fort Lewis Washington😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

What rank is TL vs Squad leader or PL? In Regiment
@@awarenesswithchris TLs are typically E5 and SLs are E6
For the guy that hits 2 out of 25 on the skeet range. Your life is a gun show rather than a game. When you make it a game….well you can make it game over.
😂
What is the time frame to go to ranger school after getting into batt and is volunteering for rstb to fast track into ranger school a smart idea if physically prepared?
Is anyone in the ranger regiment on trt?
I’m think about getting side plates for my JPC 2.0 I’m not sure which ones to get I want ones I can put level four 6x6 plates in and I still want to be able to still use the mole on the side. Any suggestions?
Don't know about how Batt guys do it (I'm sure they do much better), but for the "normal" infantry I recall we always had the AG be the GTL. It was far easier to train a new guy to crank some steel than to have him be good at managing TRPs, callouts and all the other TL things while manning the gun. I think "your AG tells you where to shoot anyway" was the thought process there.
@@joshuaeah yeah! Some platoons run it that way as well. Most of the time the GTL will be the gunner but occasionally they’ll run as the AG
Reading the Bible is a must. “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” - John 14:6
You good? You haven't posted in a while.
@zachthedangerranger What is the most amout of rounds and 84mm you've humped to a SBF?
@@rudiandrefrank1031 as a gunner in Regiment I want to say personally it was no more than 600rnds with my AG carrying another probably 6-800; only time I carried 84mm was when I filled in as the AG for a QRF mission my second deployment, carried I want to say 5 rounds

Basically the planning process. Is it done prior to leaving the wire or are planning /ORP done near target depending upon lighting?
Nah everything is planned before infil
Question? Do you follow the Ranger handbook for every mission? Or is this more ideal for open terrain in Afghanistan as opposed to claustrophobic streets of Sadr City?
No there is an entirely different set of TTPs/mission planning considerations for modern day raids. Not going to discuss them here as they’re still in use. But many of the overarching principles remain the same. Isolation (security), containment (support by fire), and then assault.
Cordon & Search is most used in urban areas during low intensity counter-insurgencies. A "classic" raid usually implies that you're in bad guy territory the whole time and you don't have control over the AO within which said raid is taking place. Even for urban areas within a high intensity conflict, a lot of high speed low drag goes out the window and is replaced with thermobarics and having combat engineers chuck satchel charges at fortifications. Or just the classic "pour gasoline outside and light it on fire" technique.
Does anyone know he’s instagram
No, it’s super lame.
bring this guy back on another podcast this one shoudve lasted at least 10 hours but thanks well enjoyed bag of teeth
Do the Rangers follow the Ranger handbook for every mission? Orps and LRs? Or is everything already planned prior to infil

Nah, once it’s on my waist it wraps far enough back to not interfere with my drawstroke at all
So I can enlist as 13f with an option 40 or 18X contract? I assume if you fail selection you just get kicked back to your original job?
@@Fyiaa95 18X does initial training as infantry, sometimes SFAS failures get a RASP option but usually needs of the army at that point. 13F Opt 40 will do initial training as a 13F
30 yo. Obtain an Opt.40 contract. Age is just a number when you’re mentally good , fit and disciplined with Consistency.
How do you even see a target at 1000 meters? How do you align the binocs to the barrel? Optic seems useful, but I don't usually see an optic paired with a machine gun
now that is what i call quality larping mate.
ive been trying to figure out ranger callsigns, especially snipers and mortars, i get the general idea with stuff like MA11 for rifle squads. Not sure if youre able to discuss that? thanks for the great vids
