any ideas as to where the smc fuse would be located on acer 311 ? thou not sure if it maybe fuse as can't get power supply to indicate ( orange led for changing ) ordered new battery assuming it may have failed ? doubtful as i still had less than m/v for few second . also not sure if the power supply inputs left/right sides have loosened on pcb and may soldering or can heat gun be applied with a foil ? thanks
Hi, I have a c731 and the fuse is good. Also have continuity through the charge cable from DC input to plug on motherboard but when I plug in charger cable I have no voltage on motherboard end. Do you think I need a new cable?
they are on most PCBs just google search Motherboard fuse, other then that a fuse is just a wire, just jump it with a wire to see if it fixes the issue
@@bugguts99 They are 2A fuses and They blow a lot on the C731 Chromebooks. The advice in this video is very bad as they should be replaced with the correct type of fuse.
