- Within 2 years of Elden Rings launch we have finally received a DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree is now out and boy oh boy is it good. The size of this dlc puts your average game to shame.
The boss fights are more difficult than trying to ask a girl out, Messmer The Impaler is now my favorite Elden Ring boss, I want to be like him when I grow up

I mean, obviously. The Hippo is much stronger, both in Eldenring AND in real life.
Hippos are literally one of, if not the strongest animal in the world. They can easily win against a bunch of lions, bears etc.
For me it took about over an hour for the lion but like 3 mins on my first try with the hippo
I feel bad for every poor bastard who struggles with Messmer because I know the final boss will break them as it did with me. Good luck out there.
I personally didn’t think messmer was that bad. Fairly telegraphed moves and doesn’t have any OP moves or skills that make him unbearable.
I beat Mesmer in an hour but I still struggle with malenia I have yet to beat her solo without any summons she’s still the strongest to me
I beat mesmer first try but radhan destroyed me for 3 to 5 hours lol

But feels empty like cerulean coast and loot is atrocious it's always cook books or some smithing stones

btw a little heads up cause i doubt a lot of people know this the iris of grace along with the iris of occultation are rare items which you can only have two for each play through and it does carry over, the grace grace gives you spirt ashes while the occultation gives you the weapon

Yo, are you using the leveling system in the dlc? If not it helps a TON! It improves your damage negation and how much damage you do. It even upgrades Torrent! And summons. If you're not upgrading them they help and make the rest of the dlc a struggle 😅
I haven't shared the same sentiment about a DLC since Blood and Wine.
It’s a DLC that took 2 years to make, if not more if it was developed at the late stage of the base game development. That’s like making a game around the late 2000s. Heck, I wouldn’t be surprised if people feel like it’s longer than Dark Souls 3, without its two DLCs.

Hahaha nice realization on the messmer fight. I started with the backhand and they carried me all the way through. Except for a couple, looking at you COMMANDER 😒(tip for the commander, Sheild + deflect + guard counter = easy time. Don’t even need torrent
Not sure how Torrent is useful in that fight anyway. The boar's faster than he is and you can't get above the attacks. I got unhorsed and flattened p. much as soon as Gaius and piggy caught up.

Dude you gotta play Mortal Shell. It’s a short game roughly about 7-10 hours but it’s so good. I love the mechanics of the game. Can’t say the mechanics because I personally think that’s what makes the game standout. I would love to see you play mortal shell
