I have made 2 scarves using your written pattern (which I found by accident). I just loved the textured look. Here I was again searching for something else when I found this video. I didn't realize at first that it was the same pattern! I am now making the hats to go with my scarves and plan to make a few more sets for Christmas presents. I'm so glad I found your channel!! Thanks.

Love the way you do the beginning of the row the stitching into the other stitch is marvellous so nice and neat. Thank you for showing me that.

    Dearest Christa,
I must confess I was intimidated by the appearance of the design.
I am encouraged br your yeaching style.
Ligthing is great. Terminology is great. Explanation is great. That chain 3 alternative- I changed playback speed to a slower number- had to watch it several times. Is it a singke crochet, then use the left (bottom) leg , then single crochet on top?

Yes, how you describe the ch 3 alternative is correct! Thanks for your kind comments! And here's the step by step for the ch 3 alternative video if you need it!

Do you have a video for the matteo gloves? I followed the pattern on your website but there is not finishing instruction for the Thumb. Or is not understandable if it is there. 🫨

Hi, I do not have a video for these gloves right now, but I'll add it to the list. The thumb is just a hole, so not any finishing instructions. Here is the sizing for it. Fold in half seam 3.5” from bottom, leave a 1.25” (1.75”) space open for thumb, seam last 1.25” (2”). If you would like to single crochet around the thumbhole you could do that. Or even work an around of dc then alternate FPdc and dc around. You would need an even number of stitches to do it. Just 2 - 3 rounds would likely give you a bit of a thumb piece. I hope this helps!
