This easy beginner friendly crochet scarf is made with the Alpine stitch, which is a gorgeous crochet stitch to use for men projects.
It is very repetitive and can be crocheted in a short amount of time.

Hello...Fairly new to crocheting and just bought my first ball of "James C Brett Marble Chunky" this week and I am in LOVE. It's such a hit or miss when first buying yarns, but it frogs well and the colours are really beautiful. I cannot wait to make a scarf with it. But i was wondering if you have any idea or can remember what yarn and colour you used for the tutorial bc it's so nice and I need to make some pink hats. TIA

Hi I'm not even 40 seconds into the video, and I want to know the pattern for the sweater you're wearing? That's gorgeous! After I watch the scarf video, I will check your other videos to see if you have something about that Stitch, or the sweater itself. Otherwise, would you consider doing a video about it? Both the pattern and the yarn seem to work really well together. Also, I can't even see a lot, but I love the looseness of the sleeves. If it's not one of your own designs, I would still watch a video about the Stitch itself. Thank you.

Hi Selina, love this. I downloaded the pattern and think there might be an error.. I did row 7 (sc) and then row 8 says to start repeating from row 3 but that's also a row of sc. Assuming row 8 should be repeat of row 4.... so should it be from row 8: alternate rows 4 5,6,3??? Thanks! X
Hello and thank you for your comment! yes you are absolutely right, that is a mistake on my part, you should indeed repeat rows 4,5,6, and 7 (or 3 as this is also a row of SC). I am so sorry and thanks for letting me know.

Hi! Thank you for your comment. You are not doing anything wrong, the stitch for this scarf does make the project curl. I do not mind this, however, if you want it to not curl, you could always block the scarf.
