      "For people coming to Islam out of prison, it's not an in-depth theological awakening, it's a system to help them be better."
      This is the main problem. They're unaware of the countless contradictions in contrast to God's actual word contained in the Torah and the Bible, or the wicked life that was led by Muhammad. Also, believing in "a God" like his grandmother said isn't enough. If that were true, every religion would be a pathway to God, and that's not true by any stretch of the imagination. "
      Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the children of God."

    • @callum4337
      @callum4337 10 месяцев назад +31

      @@swish9852basically the subject- the he- is jesus. Many muslims although some Jews despite the fact they make sacrifices, dont a being can bear the sins of another or pay for the sins of another. However, this argument i think is merely polemical because their are well attested traditions of both that feature this, and isaiah 53 clearly teaches it, so its not simply a new testament development.
      Isaiah 53:4-6 Surely he has borne our griefs
      and carried our sorrows;
      yet we esteemed him stricken,
      smitten by God, and afflicted.
      But he was pierced for our transgressions;
      he was crushed for our iniquities;
      upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,
      and with his wounds we are healed.
      All we like sheep have gone astray;
      we have turned-every one-to his own way;
      and the LORD has laid on him
      the iniquity of us all.

    Am a Christian, I once fasted, 21 days, asking God to reveal Himself to me, I want to have some message so that if I go out there preaching the gospel I’ll then know how to defend Him, the Lord Jesus Christ. I was then a new preacher. I wasn’t a pastor, I was then trying to go house to house and the street to preach Him, Jesus to the unbeliever. And that’s the verse God gave me, Isaiah 53. Immediately after my 21 days of prayers and fasting. So I think it’s a verse every Christian must memorize. Thank you God, Thank you. And thank you bro. God bless you. Bye.

All these people who died by Israelites were people that sacrificed children to false gods, did orgies, etc to honor their false gods (Baal, Moloch…). What God wants is for people to repent, he waited from 3 to 4 generations (300-400 years) for these people to repent and worship the only true God Yahweh. But they never did, even they knew Yahweh was the only true God they refused to worship him, so this is why God told Israelites to do that because these wicked people would never repent (only Rahab the prostitute did and was saved her and her family).

It is true, at the same time, that Jesus is the one true God and The Father is the one true God because Jesus himself says Him and the Father are One. Now I know you don't even believe that because your teachers teach that the bible is corrupt and not credible, so they cherry pick things for convenience. Best thing is to say the Bible is fully corrupt and disbelieve everything it says, not even what Jesus says. But that is bad because your Quran says Allah inspired and preserved the Bible.

      ✳Does Isaiah 53 talk about Jesus(pbuh)?
      In Isaiah, statements such as “for the transgression of my people he was punished” and “he bore the sin of many” do, at face value, seem to bear a striking resemblance to the theology of the crucifixion. However, when we analyse this chapter in its entirety, we will see that it cannot be a prophecy about Jesus.
      When it comes to prophecies in Scripture, you can think of each detail that the prophecy provides as a criterion that must be satisfied. So, if we consider Isaiah 53 to be a prophecy about the future, then in order for it to be fulfilled by Jesus every detail provided in the prophecy has to be satisfied by the life of Jesus as he is portrayed in the New Testament. If not, then Jesus fails as a candidate and the prophecy remains unfulflled.
      We also find mention of the following in verse 10: ,
      “…he will see his offspring and prolong his days” The Hebrew word used for “offspring”, ‘zera’, carries the meaning of progeny and semen. So, in the context of this verse, it means he will see his children. This can’t be a reference to Jesus as nowhere does the New Testament state that Jesus had children. The issue with this approach is one of inconsistency. Why interpret the mention of those things that support the crucifxion, such as suffering, literally, whereas those things that go against Jesus, such as having children and a prolonged life, are interpreted metaphorically? The suffering, offspring and prolonged days are all mentioned together within verse 10, and yet there is nothing within the context of the verse which indicates a mixture of literal and metaphorical interpretation:
      Verse 10,
      "Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand."
      So, to be consistent, we should interpret all the statements literally or metaphorically, rather than picking and choosing according to our desires.
      If Isaiah 53 is not talking about Jesus, then whom or what is it referring to?
      The Jewish people have historically associated the chapter with the suffering of the Israelites. There are even prominent Christian sources which agree with the common Jewish perspective. For example, the Harper Collins Study Bible says: "The early church identified the servant in this passage [Isaiah 52:13-53:12] with Jesus, and Jesus' own sense of identity and mission may have been shaped by this figure. In the original historical context, however, the servant appears to have been exiled Israel"(The Harper Collins Study Bible, p. 1089.)The commentary found in the Oxford Study Edition of The New English Bible associates Isaiah’s mention of death with the destruction and exile of Israel: “The crowds, pagan nations, among whom the servant (Israel) lived, speak here (through v. 9), saying that the signifcance of Israel's humiliation and exaltation is hard to believe... The death probably refers to the destruction and Exile of Israel.”(The New English Bible, Oxford Study Edition, p. 788)
      In fact, Isaiah 53 can be applied to any people of God that suffer. We find support for this interpretation in the Old Testament book of Jeremiah. Prophet Jeremiah faithfully communicated God's words to the people of Israel, warning them about the impending Babylonian captivity that was sure to come unless they repented. But no-one listened to him; he was rejected, even by his own family: "Your relatives, members of your own family- even they have betrayed you" [Jeremiah 12:6]. Jeremiah suffered greatly as he was beaten and imprisoned: "They were angry with Jeremiah and had him beaten and imprisoned in the house of Jonathan the secretary, which they had made into a prison." [Jeremiah 37:15] Here Jeremiah seems to quote Isaiah 53 and applies it to himself:JEREMIAH 11:18-19 Because the Lord revealed their plot to me, I knew it, for at that time he showed me what they were doing. I had been like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter; I did not realize that they had plotted against me, saying, “Let us destroy the tree and its fruit; let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name be remembered no more" ISAIAH 53:7-8He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. ...For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was punished.
      🔅We can in fact look elsewhere in the Old Testament to settle the question of whether Isaiah 53 is about Jesus. There are prophecies in the Old Testament which specifcally relate to the Messiah, and these explicitly rule out any possibility of the Messiah being crucifed.
      🔸 In the New Testament, Jesus affrms an Old Testament prophecy about himself:
      "Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written: “‘He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.'”Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’” [Matthew 4:5-7]
      We can see that Satan challenged Jesus by applying an Old Testament prophecy to him. Jesus responds by affrming the prophecy (“It is also written...”). The prophecy being quoted can be found in
      Pslam 91:
      PSALM 91:10-15
      "no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
      Clearly, this prophecy eliminates any possibility of a crucifed Messiah. If we are going to be objective in our interpretation of Scripture, then surely the explicit words of Jesus that confirm Psalm 91 as a prophecy about himself override the comparatively speculative interpretation of Isaiah 53.
      Qur'an makes it very clear,
      "and for boasting, “We killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.” But they neither killed nor crucified him-it was only made to appear so.(1) Even those who argue for this ˹crucifixion˺ are in doubt. They have no knowledge whatsoever-only making assumptions. They certainly did not kill him."
      "Rather, Allah raised him up to Himself. And Allah is Almighty, All-Wise."
      Qur'an 4:157-158
      (1)Allah made the main culprit who betrayed Jesus(pbuh) look exactly like Jesus(pbuh) then he was crucified in Jesus(pbuh)'s place.
      Jesus(pbuh) was raised safe & sound to the heavens.
      🔅Recall that Jesus(pbuh) endorsed Psalm 91 as a prophecy about himself, and that it rules out any possibility of a crucified Messiah:
      PSALM 91:11-12
      For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands...
      Qur'an 4:157-158
      ...They certainly did not kill him.
      Allah raised him up to Himself.
      🔹We can see from the above verses that the Old Testament even supports the Qur’anic narrative on how Jesus(pbuh) was saved from the crucifixion, as Psalm 91 foretold that the angels would “lift him up” and the Qur’an states that “God raised him up”:
      In summary, far from there being Old Testament prophecies about the crucifxion of Jesus, there are in fact prophecies which explicitly state that the Messiah would not be harmed in any way. The only way you can arrive at a crucifed Messiah in the Old Testament is to ignore explicit verses like those found in Psalm 91, and instead interpret comparatively ambiguous verses, like Isaiah 53, through the Gospel claims about the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.
      ❇Jesus(pbuh) never said that i came to die for your sins as a way of salvation for mankind to enter eternal life, but it was Paul's teaching as against the teaching of the Master (Jesus) who said, salvation only comes through keeping of the commandments (Mathew 19:16-17).
      Paul nails the law and the commandments to the cross (Colossians 2:14) and claims that salvation can only be obtained through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
      "The student is not above the teacher, nor a servant above his master"
      Matthew 10:24.
      ⚛And there are even other verses according to the Bible that he did not die on the cross, like the Sign of Jonah- Matthew 12:39-40, Luke 13:33 & Luke 20:36 & Luke 24:39.
      So worship the True God Allah, the God of Jesus(pbuh) & accept the last & final messenger of Allah, prophet Muhammad(pbuh) to succeed in both the worlds.
