Firouzja: down 20 secs
Analysts: Firouzja can just resigns
Firouzja 45 seconds later: flagged Magnus
GIGACHAD
Proud of him ! As another Iranian❤
Btw i love magnus too, he's a gentleman.
@@aaaaaa-hh8cq Playing for the French team my friend ;p
This fashion designer will have a bright future in chess
as opposed to "used to have a bright future"?
Big ups to Hess for his commentary style adjustment when Canty lost connection. Brilliant stuff.
A lot of good commentators but Hess is the best there is.
@@RMF49 You can't spell chess without Hess
@@RMF49 you can't spell best without es
True true guys!
The game magnus was 20 sec ahead of time but still alireza managed to flag magnus was crazy
Magnus is slow sometimes yeah hhahah but to flag him he being 20scs up is inhuman. Alireza allen
Got the feeling Magnus didn't want to flag Firouzja out as some kind of gentlemanship. He does that sometimes altough this seems an unlikely situation. It's a bullet 1+0 championship after all.
Alireza is exceptionally good with more to come on his career.
No.. he has peaked. Actually underperforming in rapid and classical. 3 years ago he was on a trajection to surpass magnus but didnt
@@simpletimes2819 wrong , he will peak around 24 ,25 ish
No one knows
@@simpletimes2819Lol. Alireza is just wondering himself what he really wants. He could be as dominant as Magnus was, if he want it.
@@simpletimes2819 Yeahhhh 3 years ago... changing citizenship is very fragile for patriotic Iranians, and while he was a teenager, the rivals had normal lives. Adopting the French national anthem at ceremonies for an Iranian teenager. There are many things that you do not understand
Alireza looks like such a badass lol... basically showing no emotions on his face during playing or even after he won, just casually drinking some water and walking away after winning against Magnus
Both magnus and alireza are gentleman. (Alireza did make some mistakes as a kid when he was younger , but like I said , he was a kid)
Btw as an iranian I'm very proud of alireza . And I'm also happy he changed his citizenship. Because this mullah dictatorship of Iran treated him like trash and wasted his talents
you can lip read Magnus at 39:01 'Oh my f'ing Gawd!'
Its hard to believe a prodigy like that is pursuing a career in fashion industry 😭 Congratulations Alireza 🔥
Robert is the best commentator, so smooth when Canty loses connection!
19:55 to 20:05 the most epic moment
They decided it was “INSANE” before the game
WOW i did't expect this much good play from a poker player and a fashion designer
Alireza at the end xD
Full video?
That's just so amazing.
mangross tree is so good
17:33 😂
hate it that the lenght of the video gave away how the match ended
Lol yes. I checked it when the last game started, nd saw that there was no more time left in the video.
@12:33 "Here comes the black king! f4 check!? He allowed f4 check???" 👌🥵 Outsiders see everything... when they're good 👏👏
Amazing chess especially when I can't follow a single move!😂
Lower the playspeed to 25%, it would still be fast but you can at least get your head around to what's going on
Yeah exactly you have to watch at 0.5
@@Weightingtablesafter That too is fast, 0.25 is bearable
@@AsadAli-jc5tg I'm having it on pause and it's still too fast!
Also, how can they move the mouse so fast. I premove in the openings, because i have some idea regarding whats to come, but they were premoving almost throughout the game
39:00 - "oh my f***** god"
Cud bishop take pawn on 8:42 or am I missing sth?
Need to watch at 0.5 to follow tbh
17:33
i glad to see our magnos able to feel the games again
Зачем 4 человека в кадре?? Интересно видеть эмоции игроков, оставили бы все как в начале видео, два игрока и шахматная доска, зачем ещё два лишних человека???
The chosen one.
I saw the message "be sacrificed THE MOOUUUSSSE" LOL
I'd much rather watch the players stream over this...
Fr
not bad for a fashion designer!
We lost him
Iran lost him and France is so lucky
"Why's it called Iran?"
@@nossenkanterbecause he ran
Persia > iran
@@nossenkanter U should read History to know that ;)
@@nossenkanterfor better or for worse nowadays chess shouldn't be seen within countries' borders; I admire Iranian players and I am almost their fan, but talent must shine in any place, anyone (for a particular reason) decide to live and flourish where it seems more convenient for his career. Greetings from the underground bro.
Amazing. I thought only Naka could take MC but now Firo is clearly one of those few top contenders.
Only in bullet
@@bingchilling4290 wdym only in bullet? the original commenter clearly means bullet, anyways, but even if he didnt firo has hit 2800 classical, in time he will be better than naka in every time control lol
@@badereric magnus dominates every other part of chess, bullet is the only place where magnus is bested
@@bingchilling4290 sure, I agree, but firouzja is at a super elite level in every time control, too, is my point
@@bingchilling4290 blitz?
44:03 win on time, be shameless
Magnus really, struggling to his mouse
He said the other day that he didn't think he would win the bullet because he's not using his typical mouse from home.
Playing 1 minute against Magnus is like square dancing with a grizzly bear: Bear be like, "I stood on my hind legs for this? You can't even dosey do!"
Now you got a grizzly bear chasing your a$$ around the barn
James Canty learned chess in prison.
19:50
Lmao
gukesh has become 2750 and world no 11
yeah, but why are you commenting that here.
Amazing
so fun
It's not the mouse, it's the cat. Congrats Ali Rıza.
27:35 Magnus loses his queen
This is cool
Im surprised that my own iranian kind was able to beat Magnus Carlson
I hope someday people of my country know this🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷
damn bro shit was nice
Should Firouzja become world champ in the next few years Magnus will challenge him for the title.
It's possible. He will finally see a match challenge.
Fashion designer trailed magnus
dayummmmmmmmmm
Am I the only one who thinks Magnus was shaking his hand during the match because he hurt it at 13:05
He mentioned in the post-match interview that his hand/arm fell asleep and the shaking was to try and give it some feeling. Slamming it probably didn’t help but I guess that wasn’t the root cause
@darkdragon4148 I didn't see him do it once in the first 13 mins but he did it plenty times after 13:05. I think he just forgot all about slamming his hand and wondered why my hand is not working.
Go maguns
As soon as players can buy the Apple Vision Pro and use its "glance and pinch" interface to move instead of "swipe and click" with a mouse, the game of chess will change, because it will take less time to move a piece.
😂
Firouzja > Carlsen
How are online games monitored to ensure players do not have access to chess engines ?
Well in these games they’re playing bullet no time for that
Extra camera from behind showing player and screen..
@@javongboyd I have been cheated in bullet. There might be some softwares that moves very quickly.
Sounds like they have two cameras on them based on what Ali Reza said post-game. One of his cams fell on the floor and distracted him, then he dropped a rook. That’s the time he got up from his chair after he lost to put the cam back.
@@sudiprizal the computer is able to plays bullet. But if it was an engine against u. i think u have no doubts about it. because the engine makes one minute looks like longer
Is this ure 🐐 gettin beat by a fashion designer
Guccireza epic
Am I crazy to think that Alireza might be world champ one day?
Yes
That's one of the most common opinions in chess lol
bruhh
caster using iphone microphone lol
One thing to not forget, to not take away from Alireza's win is that Magnus's laptop isn't great at bullet which means that it takes him longer to click the pieces. Great match from Alireza and Magnus though. Hope we see this again in the final!!😊
Magnus has millions of dollars, if he still keeping his computer, he's likely fine with it. Alireza won.
@@fousseynisangare5360Magnus is not at home. His computer setup is not optimal, which may cause him some games.
So it’s equal
Honestly i do feel magnus drinks a little much. Leaves you sluggish. Say what you want but the moment magnus stops messing around in general he will take the world champion title back.
But… he doesn’t want to take it back for reasons that have nothing to do with his lifestyle?
He’s the best by a mile and bored. Big ups to Aleraza but he’ll tell his grandchildren he got to play against Magnus
@@jasonknapp9796Not the best at bullet, other time controls sure. He doesn't need exuses everytime he loses.
In Classical and Rapid Magnus is definitely still the greatest we have ever witnessed, but bullet he has his matches in Hikaru and Alireza
Well he has admitted in interviews that he might have a problem with alcohol, but that was years ago and he ended up quitting for a year because of that since it was affecting his results. His result nowadays overall seem really really good, so I don't know if he's still having issues.
Magnus is no longer no. 1
Magnus pretend for losing, he will back from the losers final. BCC 2023 grandfinal will be Magnus vs Hikaru
Well it's Magnus, so he has a good chance too come back and maybe win it too.
You are world no.1 then how you dont know how to have the best net, mouse, computer settings????
Bruh he does have all that but rn he's not at his home. He has gone to Barcelona to chiilout with Chessbrahs.
Bullet chess doesn't prove much in my opinion. If you see positions in 1 second that your opponent would see in two seconds nothing is demonstrated in terms of who is the BETTER chess player. Bullet chess is simply another cultural manifestation of always trying to do everything faster. It seems inescapable in the modern world.
Demonstrates who is better at Bullet Chess. It’s a different skillset but still amazing and exciting to watch.
There is a reason why Danya and Andrew Tang are super good at bullet but not as good at Rapid/Classical lol
@@RMF49hankyou, it's like a plethora of exuses come out everytime Magnus loses, it's bullet, Magnus knows it's bullet, he doesn't need excuses, he has won many Lichess titled arena's in 1min time control over the years.
It demonstrates pure intuition, pattern recognition and tactical awareness. So, yeah, it demonstrates a lot. Stop the coping because Magnus lost! He’s just not as good. 🤦🏽♂️
@@dexio8601 Yeah, who cares right? It's one tournament with a bunch of bullet games when Magnus rarely plays bullet anyway. Magnus has been dominating everything lately. Magnus actually did say the other day that he didn't think he would win the bullet because he's not home playing with his normal mouse and computer though lol. That was before he even played any bullet yet. I doubt it would have mattered that much. Alireza is really playing strong bullet now, plus Magnus isn't out of the tourney yet. People shouldn't need to make excuses when Alireza beats Magnus in bullet. Alireza is just an amazing bullet player, period. I can't wait to see how he does vs HIkaru, but Hikaru is just on another level in that.
Mute before watching if you don't want to hate the psychiatric commentator.
