I agree. Lots of the Sinnoh tracks are underrated, but they really are amazing. I love the emotion. Like Snowpoint's for instance; calming and peaceful, and at the some parts it's more lively, like playing outside in the snow with your friends. Some parts are more mysterious, alluding to the temple and Regigigas stored inside.
+Kirito Kurusaki what about ever grande city? it doesnt have houses, and in oras they didnt fix that at all, so chances of remakes for diamond and pearl happening with there being more houses in snowpoint arent that likely
LBF 197 Your right bro! Lol totally forgot about Ever Grand, and the remakes didn't put houses like you said. We will just have to hope if it does include more houses or remaster the city a bit with the Regi Shrine there.
This song fits perfectly with the emotion that you feel when the snow is going down. Absolutely amazing, this is my favourite soundtrack from Diamond and Pearl!
Ok, someone probably noticed this ages ago, but I just realized that Snowpoint City is shaped like a snowflake! I adore this music; it instantly plays back in my head whenever I see snow! :D
The quiet of a snowy day, looking out from a frosty window. Soft flakes drifting past a pair of lonely eyes, eyeing the grey, grey skies. A car drives past, its beams shining bright against the snowfall. The flakes shine like stars. Pressing your warm cheek up against the glass, and feeling the sharp bite of the cold as you smile. You button your jacket. Don your scarf. Slip on a pair of boots. The world is your snow cone. Time to enjoy it.
Wow. This one REALLY takes me back. Gen 4 may not be my favourite generation (that award goes to Gen 5) but for its time, man was it an adventure. Just beautiful.
I feel like when I get older, I am going to play Pokemon music at my house for whatever season or holiday it is :P So like around Christmas I would play this, Ice Path, Route 216 and Snowbelle city music!
This is peaceful, in both good and bad ways. You could definitely see yourself falling to sleep to this, but you could also see yourself never waking up.
This city is... Just the best... Also... The pokecenter and pokemart must have heated roofs or something... But the gym... Having a heated roof would probably melt the ice inside... Spooky...
If it's just the first 10 seconds, it feels as if you're lost at night in a winter snowy forest, and something's just going to hunt you down any second. After the first 10 seconds.. Same thing, you're still at night, but you're celebrating the holidays in a log cabin, sitting by the fireplace, maybe with a select few people, but few enough to still feel like Halloween's just around the corner. I'm sorry if this is all too confusing..
If you run through the mystery zone north through Mt. Coronet with action replay you will get to Snowpoint City and it wont have snow just grass and you can ride your bike around
I have a goal to play throughplatinum with the first sinnoh pokemon I ever got...piplup...I solo'd diamond with one and had it at lvl 73 after the elite 4, but restarted...I can no longer battle well with piplup due to it's poor movepool, but I am determined to make it to snowpoint before january 12th...
Nope, but as for the Gym ... And it's just a large toy boat when you imagine someone the height of the Temple's entrance. Of course, when you consider the COLOSSAL pokemon was initially on the bottom floor, the reason becomes a lot more clear.
But she has a scarf and beanie! It's okay! *Once again, Gamefreak's obsession with making all of the female main characters show obscene amounts of leg baffles me.
Not to be critical, but shouldn't this be a town and not a city? Afterall, there's just a gym, a pokemart, a pokemon center, the temple and the two tiny houses.
? Why? The only thing remotely creepy is the lady who is likely a Yuki-Onna on the route south of Acuity Lake, who could be just a Froslass. What else is there ^_^?
Gen 4 definitely had the best music, every theme was just full of emotion.

I'm really torn between gen 4 and gen 5 on this one
gen 5 is sligthy better
The city with 2 houses.. lol.
I know right! I just hope that in the future remakes the city has more or more to explore in, it such a mystical city! ^^
+Kirito Kurusaki what about ever grande city? it doesnt have houses, and in oras they didnt fix that at all, so chances of remakes for diamond and pearl happening with there being more houses in snowpoint arent that likely

It's nearly terrifying to know Pokemon Pearl and Diamond are nearly ten years old... oh how time flies..
reesiewolf Oh, my... That's odd. I simply cannot believe my childhood took place so many years ago... Time does fly when you're having fun!
+reesiewolf yep
Now they're 12 years old.
Nearly 15
Now they're 14 years old
I just noticed... The town is shaped like a snowflake! Well, close enough.
Cool
Christian Cryer Get it, COOL!
This song fits perfectly with the emotion that you feel when the snow is going down.
Absolutely amazing, this is my favourite soundtrack from Diamond and Pearl!
Rowan's words echo: "There is a time and place for everything but not now!" (After trying to equip the bike in the snow) oh nostalgia :c
I remember when the game JUST came out...crazy where we are now, but in my opinion, no matter what this game still is #1
ALL ABOARD THE NOSTALGIA TRAIN! WHOO WHOO!.
Ok, someone probably noticed this ages ago, but I just realized that Snowpoint City is shaped like a snowflake! I adore this music; it instantly plays back in my head whenever I see snow! :D

I played this in 2007 summer brake :'d
Good times...Now i'm 18...

I remember listening to this for hours on end during cold winter nights, as I read by the light of my DS years ago . . .
Anyone else walk in the snow in rhythm with the music? I always did that for like 5 minutes before actually getting on with what I was doing xD
Oh my gosh, I'm not the only one!
Ahhhh, that's what I wanted to hear. Looked for this since I had it stuck in my head. Thanks for the extended version.
Anybody remember that horrible woman who traded us a Haunter holding an everstone? Thanks for warning me, ChuggaaConroy.
This theme just screams Christmas, doesn't it?!
2 houses, Pokemart, Pokemon Center, Gym, Temple, Construction Crane.
Maybe they're still building the city...?
This is peaceful, in both good and bad ways. You could definitely see yourself falling to sleep to this, but you could also see yourself never waking up.
This city is... Just the best...
Also... The pokecenter and pokemart must have heated roofs or something...

Spooky...
The fact that the houses are symmetrical--
I wish in real life there was always music playing in the background when your walking to a city, town, or anywhere like on the games xD
AMACING IS MY FAVORITE SONG OF POKEMON
Of all the times I played and re-played D/P/Pt,(which was numerous times since I love Gen. 4), I NEVER ONCE noticed that. Can't believe it.
How can someone think this is creepy? This song is amazing!
You should win a Nobel Prize for noticing this.
Yeah, I first heard this on a po live that 6fthax made, and I fell in love with it there! I've been listening to it all day believe it or not xD
I know right :D I was looking for some stuff to listen to during it and this HAS to be on it.
I remember I saw the first and only shiny(in the wild) I've ever seen in a pokemon game before in this city. It was a crobat and sadly, it got away.
Shiny wild Crobat? Hmmmm I dunno if crobat can be found in the wild......
I play this game in 2008, i find the game today... 6 years! ;(
It sounds as if someone is all alone in the middle of a winter wonderland, trapped in the snow.
The pkmn center is bigger than that cruise ship
my favorite City, Gym Leader, and of course, my favorite Pokemon song!
I love this music it reminds me of when I first played pokemon
Was Snowpoint City that small? I guess when you're 7/8 it seems a lot bigger :\
Ikr? I couldve sworn it was bigger 7 years ago when i got platinum.
Snow day today :D perfect timing since I just made it to snowpoint!
Amazing how far much something can advance in 7 years :)
best part of diamond and pearl lol. Especially after that long travel through that mountain place
Thanks!
Snow point city's music is my favorite by far :))))
It's okay, I didn't realise till you pointed it out just then... :P
so pretty!!
@Scizor753 I stand still just to listen to this soothing music.
You're not alone.
I'm sorry if this is all too confusing..
isn't that boat supposed to be an icebreaker ?
The perfect place to make magic like Dreamical!
it's snowing right now as i'm playing this
It's a snowy heaven- nuff said.
melancolic song
It sounds beautiful to me
LOL Every thing seems so small now that the games are getting better and better. The city's and towns are huge in X and Y
Pokemon logic: Heaps of people can go on the cruise ship, which is barely big enough to fit even one person alone without sinking.
If you run through the mystery zone north through Mt. Coronet with action replay you will get to Snowpoint City and it wont have snow just grass and you can ride your bike around
Good god this could be considered a town.
ahh... sounds like a winter wonderland
Love this yeah

Nice.
I'd want to live in this village if it were real.
the soundtrack to d/p/pl is he best pokemon soundtrack, second place takes x/y (just because of freaking snowbelle and anistar city in x/y)
~730cute
i know ive made two comments which is noobish but ,
This is so nostalgic
OMG THE TOP OF THE TOWNS A SNOWFLAKE XD!
Nice
I never noticed that... now I feel really stupid! XD
In the Pokemonon world legs generate more of their own heat then in the real world.
Some people miss the button by mistake. I have, but only once. No big deal right?
@723Scizor The footsteps make this piece bad, so without the steps, it's the best piece to me.
Snow point city never really freaked me out
there's only 2 houses too, lol. which means only 2 families live in this city. Some city that is hahaha
1 person lost in the Pokémon center.
It sounds weird w/o the sound of my footsteps on the snow.
me too froslass is my 4th favorite pokemon
Oh no! Save me! I'm lost in the Pokemon center! Lol, just foolin'. Though it is true...
it reminds me of a dream
Reminds me of the Diamond Dust event.
Begining:I GOTTA GET OUT OF THIS CITY!!!! SLINDERMAN THEME SONG
End: Oh ok wow........
glaceon is so cute
There are two houses in this city.
So do I.
Care to elaborate further ^_^?
I like all types but my favorites are water and ice
1 person froze to dead ny Froslass
remakes now pls ;-; Nintendo, get the game freak guys onto a 3d hoenn!
route 216 plz make that!
I can't believe that I just realized that the town is shaped like a snowflake... I feel stupid -.-
@beacker1160 or maybe he just didn't like the song? -_-
But she has a scarf and beanie! It's okay!
*Once again, Gamefreak's obsession with making all of the female main characters show obscene amounts of leg baffles me.
Well it's just hard to realize since you're actually playing the game but yeah still.....
yep, with candice that's almost easy.
Heh, look at the Gym.
My bad, Scizor753
What kind of a city is this!?
Because Snowpoint City sounds better
Not to be critical, but shouldn't this be a town and not a city? Afterall, there's just a gym, a pokemart, a pokemon center, the temple and the two tiny houses.
?
Why? The only thing remotely creepy is the lady who is likely a Yuki-Onna on the route south of Acuity Lake, who could be just a Froslass.

suffienor
@sUbZaReFrEE what?
i mean gym
FFFFFRRRRROOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSLLLLLAAAAASSSSSSSSS I am a fan of froslass and also glaceon
