Oh Claire my heart goes out to you. I have been there....endometriosis , IVF ....it is an enormous emotional struggle and as you said everyone else seems to be pregnant. In my case it was my sister and best friend . I was so broken and in pain that I just couldn't cope with it all. That was all 29 years ago. I have two grown up daughters now and am about to become a grandmother for the first time. I have talked to my pregnant daughter alot about our journey to conceive her. ( she got pregnant very easily). and I am still in awe of women who are able to conceive naturally. Like you we desperately wanted a sibling for our first child . That yearning doesn't diminish even though you have a child. Don't ever lose hope even in those dark,dark moments that we all know happen. Be gentle on yourself, lean on each other , be there for each other and let those around you support you. Hoping with all my heart your dream comes true very soon❤
Awww Claire I never wanted to just hug someone so much. You are incredibly brave and never feel bad for showing your vulnerability, only makes you more real and shows other women that it's ok to show it.
Wether it's the hormones or not I don't think we're crazy for crying. It's a natural coping mechanism of the body and necessary to release cortisol and stress. It's an adaptive behavior and we shouldn't necessarily be proud of not crying. Society shouldn't shame crying in public because we're human and fragile. We don't have to be strong rocks and superheroes all the time cause that's how we burn out. This is already a stressful cycle because of expectations and physical changes... imo cry as much as you need. After I got pregnant the doctor literally told me doctors orders: cry twice a day. because it's a human need, to cry. Big hugs.
Very recognizable with the endometriosis. I also have bad stomach pains when I have my period, but thought it was normal. It was during a hysteroscopy when I did IVF, that the doctors discovered that I had endometriosis. So I had to go home and take pills medication for a couple of months to prepare my uterus for the blastocyst. Thankfully it went well, and I got pregnant with my only child in life.

Hello Claire, I became a mom after a heart breaking journey of infertility through IVF 21 years ago with a boy. So I understand this pain so much. And then again with boy/girl twins. 🎉🎉 even after all these years the pain of this emotional journey is still in me. Sending you all the love in the world. And I love when you talk about your spiritual side. I’m a pastor in the US and the spiritual piece is so important. To know that God is for you and to know that he desires to be close to the brokenhearted. Praying for you! Thank you for sharing all of this. It’s so helpful for the world to know how hard some of us work to bring life into the world. ❤

Oh Claire’s if you have endo and dealt with the pain all this time I feel so sorry for you. It’s too often that women suffer in silence. I think it’s so much worse doing fertility treatments when you have a baby already as you know what having a baby is like and you are constantly mourning the “what ifs”

Sincere prays for you and your family. My heart goes out to you, never feel bad for being vulnerable. It is just a part of humanity. I think you are incredibly brave and to go on this journey. I struggle to be a mom myself. I know the pain of feeling like, "why not me?" It is normal. May God grant you another child to love and adore!
Thank you Claire and Paris for sharing your experience. Very hard to open up such vulnerability to the public but it does help for those of us going through something similar - I have my baby number 1 and am currently trying for number 2 via IVF. I'm an only child I turned out fine mum couldn't have any more and because lack of money just had to except one unfortunately. It's a big thing to decide to do mentally and physically, what you have in life sometimes has to be enough❤
