I know the trope of "If you're innocent, you have nothing to hide" is used to justify the trade of freedoms and liberties for the appearances of more security, but this is about voluntary transparency. No one is required to make their tax information public. If he didn't want to release them (because he knows there's damaging information in there), he could just say "No, I'm not going to." Instead he says "I would love too, I mean, really I would, but I'm being audited, and it takes a lot of time, a lot lawyers, you know, because I've got such a big business, the best business really, but so many businesses and connections and the audit just takes a very long time."

It's hard to argue effectively when you're the minority party in both houses. Now that Pelosi can simply say to something, "You don't have the votes in the House" -- well, that's an effective argument. To a rational person, anyway.

No, it’s very easy to come out against what trump is doing and say “[blank] is wrong so we should do [blank] instead.” But they aren’t doing anything they keep on and on with this half way bill and after decades of doing it our countries a mess and establishment is to the right when our population is too the left on everything from M4A, fight for 15, money out of politics and ending the wars by large margins.
