His grandmother must've stepped in at that point. I don't see her just sitting by and doing nothing. Plus, it wouldn't make much sense for it to be based solely on the birth parents as the only ones capable of doing this.

We have known Malleus's parents are dead. I get the feeling we are about to see how it happened. This is probably a common dream for Lilia. Where i think love plays a part in his loss of magic, i don't think it was for that reason. Lilia has always been a combination of Maleficent's soldiers and the 3 good fairies. I figured he lost his magic because he is transitioning from dark to light magic. It is a belief i have had since he lost his powers. The difference between his youth and old age is night and day. It all started when he learned to love. He learned to love Malleus and then Silver. It also what i think they will use to save Malleus. He too powerful to beat down. So i think love will be what saves him.

Upon reaching their destination they discover that the silver owls have reached the palace where Mallenoa was which made everyone fear the worst. My best guess is that the invaders were planning on wiping out the the royal family in Briar valley and Silver will come face to face with his human ancestor the knight of dawn and his upcoming choices will change everything in an instant like forcing the latter to reveal their true face by knocking the helmet off. I know for certain that ortho is racing back to Sage island to save his brother and the others will have to face Malleus in the midst of this mess.
We discover Malleus' age. I guess he was about 100 or 200, so guess I'm right. Old enough to remember events from 100 years ago, but much younger than Lilia. Lilia protecting Silver? Fatherly instincts?
