AZUL is always thinking about the business even during serious times.

i'm gonna take a gamble and say that in ruggie's dream, he's living a decent upper-middle class life with a stable job as a civil servant or something, and we're going to wake him up by reminding him that he fights to get ahead in the world, no matter the cost or consequences. it would lead well into him remembering the events of book 2, where he purposely injured other students under leona's orders.
I remember Yuu pulling his weight in Book 3 more than any of the other chapters (granted it is his dorm at stake). And once again, he plays a direct role in nerfing Azul. Even with help from others, the one with no magic 1ups a guy absorbing any magic. It’s poetic and I love it. I’m now wondering what Leona’s “dark ending route” will look like. Even if his schemes do overwhelm Malleus, I feel just including Malleus at all in his dream will have the real one’s attention, just like with Sebek and Idia. In other words, Idia may need to refine his plans at that point…

Live blog of my unnecessary thoughts - Love that no one is referencing how Dream!Azul fucking body slammed Floyd. Also love how for both of the twins, upon realizing the dream version of Azul and their brother weren't real were immediately like 'Urg. The fuck are you doing, gross. Anyways, I'm killing you." Silver and Sebek being so surprised at sibling violence is so fun since it lines up with how they grew up. Lilia, without a doubt, wouldn't have liked them fighting each other outside of sparring and their older brother, Malleus, would've already been 17 for their entire childhood. Thus making the age gap big enough that jokingly fighting him as a kid wouldn't have really happened. It's nice to see the twins talk about Azul, this whole chapter gives a lot more insight into their rule of 'Whoever's boring gets left behind.' Even more, it's really fucking sad that Azul's first ideal dream doesn't even involve leaving the ocean. He has a lot of self hatred, especially regarding his octopus form so his ideal reality being a world where he's HOME but he didn't face the hatred he did as a child... 19:28 God, I love you idia and your judgement of everyone around you. I am honestly glad that I was not the only one confused, probably more so with Vil, to an extent, over Jade. (I’ll come back to that.) I had a similar train of thought: it is due to plot. With Vil, he stayed behind to rest, with Ortho and Silver staying with him. I think they just needed a reason to sideline some characters, possibly to decrease the number of characters in the group. I guess it could be to avoid detection from Malleus? I was only confused more with Vil only because it was never established him having motion sickness prior to now. I know that does not make him exempt from having it, it just was out of the blue. Jade, on the other hand, has been preestablished to have motion sickness. I think they just needed a reason for him and Floyd to revert back into their merforms since Azul’s dream turned out to be in the ocean rather than on land. Kind of a minor plot thing, but a plot thing nonetheless. Admittedly, I don’t know why Jade needed to throw up for that, likely soiling his and Floyd’s clothes in the process. They easily could’ve been like, “Oh! We’re in water! Let’s change back!” when arriving in Azul’s dream, but I digress. The motion of dream traveling likely would’ve affected Jade anyways. Not to sound somewhat repetitive due to a previous reply, but a part of me is expecting the same to happen with Trey and Ruggie in terms of motion sickness due to them having been established to have had experienced it too at some point. But that is conjecture.

If I had to guess: possibly December 2024. The month of October is always booked with the Halloween related event, which tends to run through a little over mid-November as of Stage in Playful Land. With the first three Halloween events, they ran through early December, so it seems that convention has changed by Stage in Playful Land. Though I suppose an early December end time for Halloween events still allows room for a mid December main story update before New Year's. I backtracked to Little-Bean's and Koa Miyo's Calendar videos to see what November and December held in the Japanese server, and, for December 2022 and 2023 specifically, they both had a Book 7 main story update. It kind of makes sense since the Halloween stuff would have wrapped up at this point and they could squeeze one in before the New Year's event before the end of the month. Hope this estimate helps!

So i guess the "dream crossing sickness" isn't just a dorm leader thing🤔 wonder what Vil and Jade have in common that they'd both have it? Or is just random for plot reasons?
I am honestly glad that I was not the only one confused, probably more so with Vil, to an extent, over Jade. (I’ll come back to that.)
I had a similar train of thought: it is due to plot. With Vil, he stayed behind to rest, with Ortho and Silver staying with him. I think they just needed a reason to sideline some characters, possibly to decrease the number of characters in the group. I guess it could be to avoid detection from Malleus?
I was only confused more with Vil only because it was never established him having motion sickness prior to now. I know that does not make him exempt from having it, it just was out of the blue.
Jade, on the other hand, has been preestablished to have motion sickness. I think they just needed a reason for him and Floyd to revert back into their merforms since Azul’s dream turned out to be in the ocean rather than on land. Kind of a minor plot thing, but a plot thing nonetheless.
Admittedly, I don’t know why Jade needed to throw up for that, likely soiling his and Floyd’s clothes in the process. They easily could’ve been like, “Oh! We’re in water! Let’s change back!” when arriving in Azul’s dream, but I digress. The motion of dream traveling likely would’ve affected Jade anyways.
Not to sound somewhat repetitive due to a previous reply, but a part of me is expecting the same to happen with Trey and Ruggie in terms of motion sickness due to them having been established to have had experienced it too at some point. But that is conjecture.

If I had to guess: possibly December 2024.
The month of October is always booked with the Halloween related event, which tends to run through a little over mid-November as of Stage in Playful Land.
With the first three Halloween events, they ran through early December, so it seems that convention has changed by Stage in Playful Land.
Though I suppose an early December end time for Halloween events still allows room for a mid December main story update before New Year's.
I backtracked to Little-Bean's and Koa Miyo's Calendar videos to see what November and December held in the Japanese server, and, for December 2022 and 2023 specifically, they both had a Book 7 main story update.
It kind of makes sense since the Halloween stuff would have wrapped up at this point and they could squeeze one in before the New Year's event before the end of the month.

Rest assured that a lot of the times the responses from other characters don't change when selecting either answer option.

That, and, if there are some different responses between both the first and second answer choices, Gasmask would have to go through each again two additional times at least: once to see if the response changes and again to record the footage to translate. It is probably easier and quicker for Gasmask to only show one response since the main story updates can be rather long.
