YALL WAIT I GOT A THEORY!! What if this AU is similar to what will happen in the canon? What would it affect? We’ll do you remember the tutorial boss? Who did that resemble? Grim. Yuu and Grim have gotten extremely close over time. And one of the requirements for overblotting is negative emotions. What if this was the trigger for Grim? What if we, the player, become the reason for his overblot? I wouldn’t say this is how the story ends, but it could lead to the hardest battle yet.
Ohhhh, this would be so sad. This is worse than going back to their own world and not seeing our NRC cast achieve their dreams. Yuu isn't even awake/conscious to witness any of it! Silver being a dream traveler was a surprise in the story, although it does make sense now why he is narcoleptic: because of his limited control over crossing the plains of consciousness. And of course he would visit Yuu when they were asleep for 100 years; they are true battle buddies now instead of just being "sociable acquaintances through various game events". Merriweather, say the words that give me comfort. "Sweet Yuu, if through this wicked witch's trick, you're hurt and stuck and quite heartsick, a ray of hope there still may be in this. This is so nice! A true twst masterpiece. The angst and everything is so accurate.. it suits the whole theme if twst was truly a more “twisted” version of the game (since the story rn is just that they are silly teens lol) this is such a nice au!

It hurts even more when you think about youself being in yuu's position like imagine you just pass out or just go to sleep on your bed one day and your friends try to wake you up but they can't and they have now all aged and are in there 80/90's and your still in your prime and they die you then wake upbonly tk find there grandchildren and find out the whole story and what aboht all the promises and plans you made your job and your life

@Marilynn_1275 yep Crowley said us (mc) and Grimm share a student seat so we share a wand so if Grimm overblots I think thw same thing will happen to us because once the stone overbots it's who is connected so if one overblots so will the other and as we saw in the beginning scene where Grimm is all overblot we see he is much bigger in hp than everyone else so we also might be more powerful than the housewardens:0
