I watched this video with no sound and understood everything he said, great job explaining everything with physical gestures as well as verbally explaining 😂
Except the bronco raptor on a serious trail that it's capable of doing they break at the knuckle for the steering. Ford knows its an issue on the bronco and they've chosen not to fix it. Which makes them not a serious off road vehicle without a ton of aftermarket parts thrown at them and for the price it shouldn't be needed.
Great video! I am a little disappointed that you didn't give us a nice side shot of the finished product on the Braptor. I have a 37 Package Raptor with the same wheel package. and am considering the rings. Can't seem to find any good shots of the finished install.
Great vid i knew what beadlocks were but couldn't understand how something could be beadlock capable. Know , being how beadlock wheels are not legal for street use in most states i think its kind of a stupid option that ford put on. Seems like alot of work for a afternoon of fourwheeling. Thanks great vid
Do you know what the width of the vehicle is when you use the bead lock obviously it gets a little wider? Also will be 37 x 13 50 wide tire clear using the stock bead lock wheels I don’t know if there’s the proper pack spacing to run that wide of a tire?
This is pretty awesome considering most aftermarket beadlock wheels are pretty damn heavy. These being stock wheels are pretty light weight all things considered
If you remove the beauty ring to be painted or powder coated, then reinstall it, does the wheel need to be balanced again or would it be fine? Same question if you add the beadlock ring do you balance the wheel again?
Bead locks allow you to drastically reduce the air pressure in your tires without the bead coming off and letting the remaining air out of your tires. Low tire pressure increases the contact area your tire with the ground which really helps with traction in off road situations.
I wish I saw this video a few days earlier I made a fool out of myself when I took my bronco to tire shop for a flat tire I told the guy I had bead lock wheels if he had experience with that type of wheel then it tuned out they are just a beauty ring on them smh
I like the Ford beadlocks but……$1,000 for 5 metal rings and a bag of bolts?!?!?!?!? OUCH! That’s a pretty big “Bronco Tax”. Those things should cost like $100 each.
I just bought a Bronco Sasquatch and didn't understand what is "beadlock-capable". This video made it perfectly clear. Thank you so much.
Great video, thank you

I love that ford offers these wheels on their serious off road vehicles.

they should have just given the stupid true bead lock rings from factory
@@THE_CHOAS_ENGINEliability thing and some states may not allow them.
@@THE_CHOAS_ENGINEfor safety reasons, they can’t mount the tire locked to the wheel
This was a great video that answered all my questions. I never quite understood the definition of a "beadlock-capable" wheel, but now I do.
Always wondered why no bead lock on the inside, good explanation.
This is a great video! Answering questions I didnt even know I had
Thanks for scratching my wheels showing the difference between the rings.
@@scottdonbrosky5968 uhhh…. You’re welcome?? 🤷♂️
Thank you for explaining how to do the beadlock on the Braptor rims. Now this rookie Braptor owner can do it when the time comes!!
Great demo and explanation, thanks!
Awesome Job!
awesome video !!!! thanks
Awesome video. Very informative.
Especially like listening to Darth Vader hold the camera at the end there 😂
Nice video man thanks. Cracked me up, “cause apparently 38s aren’t big enough.”
That was excellent. Thank you!

excellent video!
Great info ❤
Thanks for this.

Did the beadlock pull your whole tire out away from the vehicle a bit? I’ve heard that it does
It definitely does, buy moving the outer bead out approximately an inch, it moves the tread of the tires about 1/2” farther out.
This is pretty awesome considering most aftermarket beadlock wheels are pretty damn heavy. These being stock wheels are pretty light weight all things considered
Agreed, especially if you opt for the forged bead lock capable wheels (which the ones on the our Raptor are).
Thank so much!

Generally you only need to re balance if the tire has spun on the rim
What is the name of the device he used to tighten the beadlock ?
You remove all wheel weights and use balance beads, correct?
Did you torque down to 46lbs even with thread locker ?
help , I wanna buy that ring for bronco wheel , to replace orginal part . tks .
@@nkvsteven I believe they are only available from Ford.
what is the for part number for these beadlocks?
Are the Ford beadlocks DOT compliant?
No, they still rely on bolts to hold the bead on.
What is the advantage of having bead locks?

@@4x4ranch Especially with 37s. Dropping to 10-15 psi on my wildtrak gives me a hilarious amount of traction and rid comfort in really rough terrain.
Do you happen to know the part number?

Thank Joe Biden
The nose breathing is all I can focus on 😮
will it kind of make the tire wider
