It's something I'm thinking of doing, I just want to make sure I see it through to finish the next time I decide to do a series. Keep an eye on the channel. I'm in full video production mode at the moment and won't be slowing down.
from a pure output gain there will not be a difference but the processing will be different... BTW this limiter does not feature output gain, only input gain, meaning you determine how the limiter acts on the signal actually changes when changing the gain...
When you're purely applying gain there's no difference, but if you increase the gain to a point where it engages the processing then the limiter will act on the signal differently to how a compressor would. If you just want to turn something up, the gain on a utility will do just the same thing as the output gain on a compressor.
thanks but also confussing remembering your voice from the videos how to dj on ableton watch those so many times. i you lost your hair a bit and not your psy trance i hhope
Welcome back aussie man, glad to see you're still around and posting from time to time!
Been binging both your channels lol
@@wheezeau thanks!
Hey bro, I'm not an Australian :) not just posting time to time either. I'm back into full video production. Cheers.
Appreciate your support mate :)
Is there any chance of another series of creating a song from start to finish?
I learned more in them than in some courses.

damn 1 month ago and then they announce the new limiter haha - now we need another video :)
next time mention don't look it up ,, to late
Another banger! What’s the difference between using the output of a compressor to raise the gain verses using a limiter (adjusting the gain)?
